We are owners here and have not been here for 3 years. Since we have been here there have been many improvements to the beach, restarurants,and shuttle service. We also enjoyed the improvements at the Marriott Hotel. The beach is still rocky but swimable. We never had problems gettting lawn chairs at the pool or beach. There were 7 adults so we had 2 units in the Tortola building (which we loved the location of this building) we had two parking spots for our vehicles and did not have problems finding parking spots. The resort had music from 6-8 about everynight. We had the breakfast buffett 2 times and everyone like it. We also had sandwiches by the pool and they were all good. The mixed drinks are pricey but we always stock up at ther liquor store and bring our own. Happy hour is 4-6. Our favorite day trips are we love taking our jeeps on the car barge and going over to St John- we had a blast at Francis Bay this year. We also love takign a day trip to BVI - In the past we have always went on the Breakaways trip to the BVI, but this year we did a private charter with Stan and had a blast!!! It was our Favorite day...Can't go wrong at the Soggy Dollar-the food and drinks. We ate at some good restaurants but really enjoyed Mim's this year. Can't wait to go back!!!

We stayed here for a few nights during our honeymoon as my parents are condo owners and gave it to us a as a gift. The condos are very nice, two bedrooms with a really nice kitchen and view. We stayed on the second floor of the St. John building and still could see a decent amount. We stayed at the Frenchman's Reef later in the week and for us that was a better honeymooning fit. There were fewer families and the beach was larger. The Cove was very nice but seemed a bit more geared toward families.

This was our third year staying at Frenchman's Cove. The two bedroom units are beautiful and well furnished. The beds are comfortable. The kitchens are well applianced with everything you need. The infinity pool is beautiful. The beach is nice but small and you cant walk it. If your looking for a mile long beach don't go to St. Thomas as all the beaches I have been to are small but very pretty.

Enjoyed a great week here with friends and overall very pleased. Being very familiar with Marriott timeshares as an owner of two, the villas are just what you expect. They 're gorgeous and spacious making time in the unit very comfortable. I personally have a bad back so beds were too soft for me but no one else in my party had issues. The resort itself lacks a little with a mediocre pool and beach area but this is easily solved by taking the free shuttle to morningstar beach. The dining is ok for breakfast or lunch but dinner is tough if you actually like good healthy food. Our last night we were just too tired to venture out so we ordered the steaks. All came overcooked and tough to eat. Salad was ok. Wines are left out so forget red, they re sadly ruined by the heat and weather. Shame they don t just get proper wine coolers to store. Morningstar is leaps above Cove area with gorgeous pool and beach area enhanced by great food at Coco Joe's. Spa was closed, a big disappointment for the ladies. Tip: Check out jazz friday night at Tavern on the Waterfront. Great music, medicore food. When traveling to island beaches, note cruise ship crowds.
