“Three days of luxury in paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

We stayed in the Coquille Collage room from May 13th to 16th at the end of our 12 day trip of the islands and had a fabulous time. Wendy was such a gracious host and really made you feel at home. Her breakfasts are amazing! The frappes, fresh fruit, little muffins and hot dishes were all delicious and a nice way to start off the day. If you’re a food lover like me, be sure to pick up one of her cookbooks. Even though we had to leave early in the morning to catch our flight, Wendy set out granola, yogurt and coffee for us which was a really nice touch!

What can you say about the property other than its absolutely breathtaking! Both Wendy and Doug keep it pristine. The pool was a great way to cool off and relax. It was also nice to just sit on the deck and listen to the birds chirping while taking in the view and the surrounding garden. It’s close enough that we were able to walk to and from Charlotte Amalie, but you will have a pretty steep hill to contend with. Let’s just say we got our exercise in each day!

We really enjoyed our stay and when we return in the future, we will definitely stay at Bellavista once again.

This was our second stay at the Bellavista. We LOVE this place! We stayed here six years ago on our honeymoon! It was like staying with family. When you stay here you will be completely spoiled by the experience and quickly learn no other b and b can compare. Wendy takes such care to focus on all of the details. She is kind, generous, and passionate about her business. She artfully prepares breakfast each and every morning. It's stunning!

Wendy and Doug are so helpful and friendly always offering to guide you in the right direction as to where to beach, dine, adventure, etc. They always make sure you're off to a great start each day and when you come home they're there to greet you too! Every night she makes sure to turn down your covers and flowers are placed on the pillows! Details!!!

Their place is sooooooooo clean and cared for. Doug and Mocha (the dog) are always watering the gorgeous plants and Wendy is forever cleaning and straightening.

The views from the deck are breathtaking. You can walk to town (in the daytime only), but must taxi back at night. From here you must take a taxi to the beaches as they aren't within walking distance. But, it is totally worth it to stay away from the beaches and experience this gem! Visit a different beach each day like we did. Eat in Frenchtown! Explore and experience St. Thomas!

At the Bellavista they really are like family! They care about you and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Jeff and I were so sad to leave. It truly is like saying good-bye to old friends. You will no doubt have a fantastic time in St. Thomas if you stay at the Bellavista.

And, be sure to always use taxi driver, Kenroy! Wendy can give you his number. He is fantastic!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely! The ones on the front have views of the harbor. They are all quiet and lovely.

My husband and I stayed at Bellavista for 2 weeks in May and were very sad to leave. Wendy and Doug are so nice and welcoming of guests into their B&B and will do anything to make your stay and vacation relaxing, fun, adventurous, memorable.....you name it and they will make it happen! Wendy's breakfasts are awesome!!!! Mini muffins, frappes, and fresh fruit were my favorites each morning. The B&B is in a perfect location to walk to a main shopping/eating area during the day. If you want to venture further Wendy will call you a cab. We had a rental car to get around and it was very easy to park at the B&B. I definitely can't forget the beautiful view from the hill that Bellavista is located on....still looking at the pictures wishing I was back there. Each morning I really enjoyed sitting on the very comfy couches in the common area to drink coffee, listen to the birds and smell the yummy breakfast being cooked up. If you leave early in the morning Wendy will leave her delicious homemade granola for you. Also, we were divers and had all of our dive gear with us and were able to rinse our gear there before going back home. I can go on and on about Bellavista and how amazing it was...... Thank you Wendy, Doug, Mango and Mocha for making our vacation so memorable!!!!

Room Tip: We had the Bambooshay room and it was very spacious and had a great private balcony.

Recently (5/18 & 5/19/13) my husband and I along with another couple spent two nights at Bellavista. When the taxi pulled up we were greeted by Wendy and Doug. Bellavista is absolutely beautiful and Wendy will make you feel so special. She will help you with reservations and make sure your stay on St. Thomas is a great experience. The best part about staying here is the incredible breakfast. I have stayed at B&B's all over the world and Bellavista rates at the top!!

My wife and I stayed a few nights with Wendy. The Bellavista is very well cared for and in a convenient location for walking into Charlotte Amalie for shopping, lunch and dinner. Wendy was great about giving us recommendations, taking care of taxis and just in general making our stay as comfortable as possible. We didn't book far enough in advance so switched to a nearby hotel for the last couple nights of our stay, and the reception there was miles apart from the way Wendy received us. I would recommend getting one of the larger rooms if they are available; they are definitely worth the difference in price. We would certainly stay here again!!

Bellavista Bed and Breakfast on St. Thomas presents an intimate and excellent experience. Wendy and Doug take genuine interest in their guests and pamper them without being overbearing. They respond to guests' needs promptly and professionally, yet they also allow guests their "space" to relax and refresh. Wendy's breakfasts are delicious and are like lovely little works of art. The guest rooms are exceptionally clean, cute and romantic. The views of the harbor are exquisite. The pool area is quiet, secluded and perfect for stealing some quiet time. Bellavista Bed and Breakfast is top-notch and is not to be missed. Go now !!
