“Cold spot in the middle of the Caribbean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

In the midst of the getting solicited by hundreds of jewewlers selling anything from fake diamonds to the most beautiful Cartier jewelry lies the only real attraction in downtown Charlotte Amalie. This place was a wonderful relief. It is a beautiful display of true craftsmanship. It is amazing how they portray the Caribbean island feel with awesome sculptures of ice. At $20 per person it is the only bargain you will find in the historic district of Charlotte Amalie. They provide everything you need to survive in the frigid freezer where they keep the display, even a shot of rum! It's a little hard to find but well worth the effort! Highly recommended destination!!!

“Ditch the beaches, chill in magic ice bar!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

My husband & I were on a cruise with RCL( Allure of the seas) & we kind of wondered pass the magic ice sign. Being that we were so tired of all the shops because they all carried the same junk and we had enough sun so we didn't want to go to another beach. We decided to try Magic Ice and to our surprise we really enjoyed it. We was welcomed in by the owner who was very nice and friendly. She told us the history behind magic ice which was interesting being that she was from Norway.
It's very cold inside but if you drink enough you will warm up! They gave me extra leg warmers to wear. The bartender(West) was the Best.. He told us we could stay in bar as long as we wanted too. There was a ice slide inside, a chapel and a lot of creative images made of ice. The best part was we got shots glasses as a keep sake. Did I mentioned the free shot of rum.(yummy). So if your in St. Thomas give them a try you will not be disappointed.
