“2 for 1 beers and great margaritas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

A good selection of beers for 2 for $5, $6, or $7. The friendly 72 y/o bartender / owner, a 35 year resident of St Thomas, will talk your ear off about anything you'd like to talk about. The hand made margaritas were delicious and, though I didn't eat there, the food prices were incredibly reasonable for St Thomas with burgers under $10.

“Nice and Quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

If you blink you might miss the place but they had a couple Swedish gals standing out front to draw your interest as to what was down this quiet little alley. I believe the Owner's name is Nala, real nice guy, even to the local town drunks that think they are owed something when they walk in the place. Cheap beer prices(two for five dollars for most domestic US beers.)The place is set back into a patio type area and the plants and flowers give it an inviting island bar vibe. Didn't try the food but there were some people there that were eating and seemed to really be enjoying their meal and drinks.

“Great Pit Stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

We've been to the Beer Garden every year for the past three. This last visit was different. Beer selection was smaller and prices higher. Our first visit, it truly felt like a beer garden. This last visit, more like a small bar. The owner is interesting and tells great stories still. But we had problems with biting insects and the place just seemed to have lost some charm. We'll stop by again, but certainly will spend less time.

“Best beer (& bushwackers) in Charlotte Amalie”

The bartender/owner is very friendly and makes you feel as if your part of the family. Excellent conch fritters and selection of beer. Nice atmosphere and location.

“Unusual, delicious, very friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

I found this place on tripadvisor and we decided to stop by there for a quick bite. The owner/bartender was super nice and had great stories to tell. We had lobster quesadillas, lobster bisque, and some conch fritters. The food was fresh, delicious, and the best part is home made from scratch. The selection of beers is huge and margaritas are to die for. The don't use sour chemical mix which makes it taste so much different and better. The only problem you might have is hot weather. The place is outdoors and I was getting a bit too hot but the food and atmosphere made up for it. Enjoy!
