“Excellente!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014 via mobile

Working in the downtown area lunch options are slim. With Cafe Amalia I know I can always get a great meal at an affordable price(well by st. Thomas standards :)) as an added bonus, Helga, Maynard and the team always give exceptional service!

“Fantastic Restaurant !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

Upon the recommendation of the Innkeeper at the Galleon House, we had a fantastic meal at Amalia Cafe. The service was great and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend Amalia Cafe for dinner in Charlotte Amalie.

“Great Food, obnoxious waiter...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

Did you ever sit in a wonderful, place, have wonderful food and then have it spoiled by an incompetent, overbearing waiter? That was my experience at The Amalia Cafe.

“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

What a wonderful meal! Set in a pretty courtyard, the Amalia Cafe was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Our server, Stephanie greeted us warmly and provided wonderful service all night long. She did a fantastic job of describing the various menu options ( so much to choose from, we were in a quandary). We started with the garlic shrimp and mussels in brandy sauce. They were both so good, that we were asking for extra bread to get all of the sauce. We both wiped our plates clean. For entree's we had the seafood special which was terrific but we also shared the zarzuela, which was exquisite! The flavors, the quality of the seafood---magnificent. Our only regret is that we left no room for dessert. We highly recommend Amalia Cafe, and look forward to going back.
