The four of us had dinner here on our last night in STT after a 12 day stay. We tried Thirteen on the recommendation of another restaurant owner. When asked where he would eat if not at his own restaurant, he said Thirteen so we had to try it. What a pleasant surprise at this great restaurant off the beaten track. In our group of four we had the grouper special, duck and salmon. All dishes were excellent. One of the best meals that we had on STT. If you get there before dark, you can have a nice view of the North side of STT .Try to get a table by the big window in the back. The drive is interesting. You go north on 35 from downtown Charlotte Amalie then right at the intersection with 33. The roads wind and twist and the drive seems much further than it is. It is slightly less than four miles from downtown CA, but allow 20-25 minutes or so. Be sure to save room for dessert as they do some amazing things with their self made ice cream. Well worth the drive for this hidden treasure.
