This was a great island to visit for our first Caribbean adventure. Now we can add more islands on our bucket list for the very near future. Loved the crystal clear water, warm weather and white sand beaches. This was very different than Coney Island.

A little hard to find but worth the effort! Very knowledgeable staff and lots of interesting historical items; has a short film about ruins on Hassel Island. Great for anyone wanting a little more than just beach and shopping experience!

Downtown St. Thomas is about walking and enjoying the history, the shopping, the people...

If you start your walk at the east end of town, behind Fort Christian, you might begin with the St. Thomas Historial Trust Museum, giving you a glimpse as to what you will be seeing as you head down Main Street and the waterfront. Beautiful little museum, excellent historic details of Charlotte Amalie, Hassell Island, the government , and run by really lovely people.

Museum includes items from the 1700's. They also have waling tours of old downtown and Hassel Island. Many old photographs, furniture and other items from St. Thomas; history.
