“Beautiful Views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Great stop over on the way to Magen's Bay. Drake's seat is a wonderful photo opportunity with panoramic views of Magen's Bay the surroundings. Not many parking spots and it can get crowded when there are a lot of cruise ships. There is a man with a dressed up donkey if you are interested.

If you are on Carnival cruise line, they have a pretty good shore excursion that will take you to Magen's Bay and that tour will stop over at Drake's Seat. A must see in St Thomas!

“Drake's Seat (bench) is An Overlook with a Nice View of Magen's Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Drake's Seat (actually a green bench) is an overlook off the road where you get an amazing view of Magen's Bay and can see off to the B.V.I.'s. There are 8-10 parking spots (estimate) and it isn't busy at all when there are no cruise ships in town. If there are, expect it to be busier there but don't let that deter you. It is definitely worth a stop if you are on the island.

“OVERLOOK”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Great place for photos of beautiful Megan's Bay. One local was there sharing tid bits of information with his mule Lady GaGa. (Monica Lewinsky, another mule, was working the overlook down the road).
