“Loved this little island, Honeymoon Beach is Gorgeous!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

If you want a day to just relax and really get away from it all then definitely take the $10 round trip pp ferry over to Water Island. Honeymoon Beach is walkable from where the ferry drops you off and it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean ( I've lived in the islands for 3 years so this says a lot!) Bring Cash if you want food and drinks at the beach for the day. There are two beach vendors, Heidi's and Joe's that offer quick food, snacks, and drinks.

“Walk, swim, rest, dream....Water Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

Wonderful place to walk, run, think, dream...love it.

The experience is a simply ferry trip away, $10 round trip, only takes 8 minutes. You can walk to the beach but I received several offers for a lift in a golf cart. Friendly residents, interesting history.

“Private Tour by Golf Cart”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

Once we figured out where the ferry to Water Island was, we waited by Tickles Bar for it to arrive.
We met a semi-local Water Islander, Charlie, who rode with us for the 15 minute ride on the tiny ferry and then gave us a tour of Water Island on his golf cart. We ended up on Honeymoon Beach and had a great lunch at Heidi's. Huge burgers, great Chicken Caesar salad.
The swimming was lovely, and there are changing rooms and bathrooms close by. We found out that Heidi sponsors a local feast on Saturdays with steak or lobster, and the locals come to watch a movie on a sheet hung between two coconut trees. Fun!
