My cabbie warned me against it, so the Greenhouse was the backup to my backup plan, in case my first two picks were full. They were, so I was stuck with the Greenhouse.
The host sat me next to a double table full of preschool kids, who were slightly less noisy than their screaming parents. I ignored them for the 15 minutes it took to get a drink, kept ignoring them when my starter and main course arrived at approximately the same time, but the second time the kids knocked over my drink while running circles around my table I asked the waiter to move me to another table. Instead, he moved me to a hightop in the bar. I asked for a table. He said they didn't have any, even though there were a dozen completely empty tables.
At this point they brought my lobster thermidor back out. It'd been under a heat lamp and was completely dried out. Since I'd been seated in the bar, I no longer had a waiter, so not only couldn't I complain, I couldn't even get the bill.
I approached another waiter, who asked if I wanted a go box for my uneaten lobster. I told him I just wanted the bill so I could leave. The host offered no discounts or apologies. I paid the full price, left my food uneaten and told them I'd seen more order in the middle of a riot and no matter how important the screaming (local) parents and kids were, they shouldn't have allowed them to disturb their other patrons.
The service was chaotic. The food was dried out and tasteless. The management valued their local clients to the extent of persecuting the tourists. I'll never go back.
