The price of admission is $3 for adult $1 for children, great price, the Fort was unfortunately self guided, they is a lot of history about the fort, which a Guided Tour should be madatory and available.

“Worth a Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

There's little to do after coming off a cruise ship here unless you want to go across the island. They have a nice little waterfront with some local vendors. A nice peaceful respite after the madness of St. Maarten. We were the only ship in port so it was nice to just kick back and spend a few hours here and at the fort which is very interesting for it's historical perspective.

“Visit the fort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

You can see the red colored fort from the cruise ship. Entry fee is minimal and you learn about the transfer of St. Croix from Denmark to the US around World War 1.
2nd floor has an exhibit of mahogany furniture which is well worth the entry fee alone.
Nice view of the harbor from the roof.

“A bit of history”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

This museum/fort was pretty cool to go thru, we had some time to kill in Frederiksted while waiting on a tour and decided to go here, its about $3 and you can go through all the rooms and the roof top.
