“Pretty Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

Polly's is right at the Pier in Frederiksted, Saint Croix. It is an indoor place with a full menu. They also have a small selection of ice cream. The have a good selection, and the prices are average for the area. This is right next to where the big Cruise Ships dock, so when a ship is in, it gets very busy.

They do have a couple computers to use (for a fee) or they have WiFi that you can use for free with a $10 purchase and does require a password.

If you are arriving on a cruise ship, and don't want to pay for a taxi, this is a good choice.

TIP- If you are arriving on a cruise ship and are looking for a more authentic island ice cream place, take a taxi to Armstrong's. It is a local homemade ice cream shop with local flavors as well as the classics. It isn't that far from town, but too far to walk.

“Don't miss the Pier and don't miss Polly's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Frederiksted can seem very quiet when there is no cruise ships in to the point that you may pass it by. Don't. The pier and Polly's are two reasons to stop. Polly's is an indy coffee shop and deli with bags of atmosphere even when the rest of Frederiksted is a ghost town. The friendly (but busy) staff make fresh wraps and sandwiches as well as iced coffees and soda's with a smile. On both visit's we had to share the large sandwiches and on both occasions we were cheerfully given an extra plate to make 'splitting lunch' easier. Drop by after a snorkel at the pier, eat, enjoy and don't forget to tip. This kind of unassuming, cheery, customer centered service shouldn't go unrewarded.

“Nice location across from F'sted water front.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Interesting surroundings, inside & in courtyard...Good sized menu, with daily specials. "Organic" was tagged on to much of their fare. I opted for a grilled cheese...one of my toppings was "fresh" basil, which came kind of blackish looking & tasteless (as was the grilled cheese & side), and bread was toasted beyond toast. The worker who brought me the wrong bottled beer proudly stated that all sandwiches were "handmade." I was happy to be able to enjoy the view of F'sted water front as I painfully watched my grilled cheese being handmade. I left a bit hungry & a bit disappointed based on their ads.

Polly's has a friendly staff and excellent coffee and iced tea. They also serve salads and sandwiches. Be sure to visit their gift shop, Franklin's.

“Bets lunch fare in Frederiksted.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

I have eaten almost every wrap they make and every one has been great. It's gourmet food made fresh. The coffee is excellent and so are the deserts. The salads are all organic locally grow.
