An update to my prior reviews- don't get me wrong - this is still my favorite upscale dining restaurant on the island. However, I felt like this past trip they were missing a step. The food was still delicious but the atmosphere was just not as cool, just not as intimate. There was a couple there, I'm assuming locals, who were celebrating an anniversary. The owner brought them champagne; the chef personally delivered their meals. There were only 5 occupied tables in the restaurant that night but neither the chef nor the owner stopped at any other table to ask about the meal,etc. They would have only received positive feedback so I'm surprised they didn't take an extra minute for the personal touch.
We will come back in hopes that things change again for the better.
