“A great beach for my young son”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014 via mobile

This beach was so much fun for my little ones(2 and 6). My son (2) loved the boat ride over to the beach and loved that he could wade into the water and play with some pretty calm waves and views of the sea plane taking off. My daughter (6) loved looking at the sea life as well as all of the possible amenities at the shop. We rented a paddle boat one day and saw a sea turtle! The staff at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful with decent burgers and frozen drinks! We loved the beer bucket specials! The woman in the boat house seemed like she was in a bad mood every time we went but we didn't let her deter us from having fun!

“Cute little beach, clean water and lots of sun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013 via mobile

This little beach is a short water taxi ride over from the Christiansted boardwalk. The water is very clean and warm. We didn't snorkel but we saw starfish, some rays and colorful fish just swimming around. You can rent chairs, towels and I'm sure anything else you need to lay around and do nothing! Mary, in the beach shop, is amazing and can coordinate your trip out to Buck Island.

We ate at the beachside restaurant and the food was very good. Service was good too.

Overall, I would not hesitate to come back to this little gem of a beach.

“Rats at the restaurant and shop area”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

The hotel is placed on a little Island and is Nice but old, from some rooms you cant see anything because of the Big palmtrees as they dont Cut Down.
They have tried to renovate the rooms but the result is not too good.
We saw a Lot of rats around the restaurant and in front of the hotel.

“Great snorkeling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Great snorkeling off the Hotel on the Cay beach...small beach but very clean and restful...beautiful view of Christiansted and you can snorkel all around the island safely! The BEST part is that St Croix Water Sports can set you up with equipment to do all sorts of water sports while you are visiting this little island...and they have a great little restaurant and one of the best bartenders ON the island...be sure to visit!

“Very Quite”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Our visit was during off season so we were able to enjoy the quite atmosphere. The hotel has undergone some repair and were working on a larger entertainment room. The ferry staff and Mary at the dock were absolutely wonderful. Mary owner of the little shop on the dock was so helpful in finding great deals on a car rental and trips. Stop in and see her it is well worth the savings.
