Any one familiar with "island time" is accustomed to a bit of a wait. This venture however was well beyond what is reasonable. I was able to ponder the meaning of life as I watch our dinner cool to the point of being almost inedible. It can not be said that the server was to busy, no she was well aware that our food was waiting in the window, she even had time to make a drink and tell us it would be right out as it continued to cool off. As a native Texan I have high standards for Mexican food. Taco Bell has higher standards of what Mexican is than the pirates tavern. If you are on St. Croix there are many other restaurants near and in Christiansted that deserve your attention.
