I stayed here on business in early February and found it to be clean, quiet and convenient. The room was large and adequately furnished. The A/C was sufficient, but the phone did not connect to anything. Bring a cell phone and be prepared for high roaming charges. The wireless highspeed internet worked sporadically, but the wired connection at the pool was always available. Kevin, the manager, kept things working and was most helpful with taxis and directions. The neighborhood seemed quite safe and was just a short walk to both the seaplane and downtown. I would stay here again.

I was at the Pink Fancy the week of Feb 17-24. This was a very busy week on island because of the various activities going on. I was able to book a room over the phone with the manager, Kevin Windham.
Kevin is a young southern gentleman that has recently started managing this B&B. Kevin was knowledgeable about the island and the onging activities and never failed to provide either insight or humor. He went out of his way to assist me with a shopping expedition that would have been very traumatic without his guidance. Kevin was amazing in how he balanced his busy schedule while tending to the guest's needs. Whether you needed a cocktail and an ear to listen or advise as to where to go he was more than willing to assist with anything. He would arrange taxi pick-up for the guests, recommend local eateries as well what to avoid.
The room was always clean and well tended. I would defintely stay here in the future. One of the best values (and personnel) on island.

I liked it the first moment I saw it. At first, you realize you are on the south side of town which is at the most southern point of the boardwalk (where everything happens). That area is Crucian (not full of motels), so you will see locals sitting in lawn chairs in modest houses in the area watching people go by. The gate is locked, and you "buzz in". Once inside, you realize that you have experienced some of the culture of this town, where Sea planes fly in, 400 year old churches still hold services, and the odd chicken still finds its way downtown. The accomodations were great and intimate. THe owners, although Michigan fans (kidding) were very friendly and I felt very comfortable sitting by the pool talking to them rather than hanging out in my bungalow. If you are a botonist, it would take you years to identify all of the plants in their garden/forest. Nice job guys!

My roommate and I stayed at the Pink Fancy and it was the highlight of our trip to St. Croix. The owners were extremly knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. They really cared that we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very well maintained, the pool area was beautiful, and the location was ideal for a walk downtown. I recommend this hotel for all visitors of St. Croix. We had a wonderful expereince at the Pink Fancy.
