A friend of mine who lives on the island said I had to try this place so I came by for a late lunch. The food was excellent but the home made baklava ice cream was simply amazing. If you're in the area you HAVE to try it!!

The Pickled Greek is the only Greek restaurant on St. Croix. They serve up honest and good examples of many Greek classics and the place is well worth a visit. One has to remember that one is in the islands so service can be a bit slow/leisurely, just as it can be everyplace in the islands. After a bit of a slow period recently Pete and his Pickled Greek is once again on form however and are waiting to see you.

We just got back from Greece and I have to say that Pickled Greek food is great better than what we had in Greece :) we are so happy with all of the delicious entrees and for desert : the baklava ice cream!!!!

Stopped by the Pickled Greek on evening before the dinner rush. Found the owner inside who was very friendly and willing to make whatever we wanted off the menu (even though the Chef was not due in for a while). I got a Gyro and the Mrs. got slouvaki. Both items were good, not exceptional, but good and the beer was cold. The owner had us try some of his ice cream. Wow. If you like the old fashioned ice cream that your family made when you had to crank the ice cream maker...then you are in for a treat
