“Duggans is a must go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

Staying across the road at the Reef. The host Frank Duggan is an affable New Englander and serves a great menu. Some complaing of the limited menu but each dish from the lobster to the fresh catch of the day and the sea food appetizer are excellent. The on shore winds make this beach front a perfect place for great casual dining or just drinks. The .portions are excellent the prices reflect the quality and freshness of the food. I find the prices very reasonable. No formality here just great food and drinks from this fellow VN vet

“Lobster capital of St. Croix”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

After several meals at our all-inclusive we decided to try a local restaurant. Duggan's Reef was highly recommended and did not disappoint. Lots of Lobster dishes with fresh local lobster. Among us we had lobster bisque, their house special whiskey lobster, traditional steamed lobster and I think someone had a lobster eggroll app. Mmmmm everything was fantastic. Duggans does lobster right.

The open air dining was breezy and pleasant and the high-back "throne" chairs really comfy. Definitely worth a visit.

“Yum-O”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

The greatest place to sit while you eat on the entire island. Duggan's combines great food in the most ideal setting. The restaurant has a nice sea breeze blowing through. Even the walk from the parking lot to the restaurant is nice. The grilled wahoo was great but my wife ordered the Irish Whiskey Lobster (she said it was the best lobster she's ever had). I ate more of than she did! Earthy roasted mushrooms were a pleasant surprise as well.

“Nice location, but out of many menu items and prices very high”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

We were here a little bit after the typical dinner hour, but the restaurant was still open and there were other groups still eating. Our server seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. The restaurant was out of mixed green salad (!), baked potato, & some sizes and preparations of lobster. Considering the prices, one would think that they would be making an attempt to take care of guests. It isn't fun to feel like you are not welcome and to have to settle for choosing whatever might be left on the menu. The bartender was very nice however.
