“A Unique, Romantic, Caribbean-Mediterranean Fusion-Dinning Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

A delight, the menu is fantastic, the taste even better, the waitstaff warm and intuitive, and the ambiance/views worth it every time. The cliffside property makes for a unique and romantic dinning experience.

“Unbelieveable location, good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

When you are met by the host at a restaurant who says, "Let me seat you at a table that's not being hit by the waves ..." you know that you are sitting close to the water! It turns out the "Host" was also the owner, who was also the server. The menu selection is not extensive, but this is a small restaurant with only about 8 or 9 tables. You are literally just a few feet from the waves crashing in to the small tide pool which is used to hold the lobster cage. The menu items are unique and presented beautifully. Cost is comparable to other sit down restaurants in St. Croix -- around $25 for the entree. Wine prices were high, even for the house white wine. We were there in July in the off-off-season, but were told that in the spring, there is a long wait for tables.

“Making Big Waves”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

My fiance and I wanted to do something special last week, so we went for dinner to the Waves. I love how the waves crash right below the open-air seating area- it is spectacular! We were informed that the new chef changes the menu regularly to take advantage of the best of each season, so we let ourselves be steered to several great suggestions, including a seafood Thai-style curry and a delicious mahi in a white wine sauce over cous cous, a great cheese plate with house made rosemary crackers and a perfect ending in the "almond joy" chocolate & fresh local coconut ice cream pie. Service, atmosphere, food- all are wonderful, and the seaside intimacy of the few tables tucked away under the hotel make it seem like a secret hideaway. Just you, great food, and the waves.
