Our family was just in St. Croix and visited the Waves restaurant on Wednesday 7/1, the bartender greater us and was very friendly. He asked if we had a reservation, which we did not, he said we could check availability, but wanted to let us know their menu was not kid friendly and suggested a place down the road. So we left and we made reservations for just my husband and me for the next day. We were looking forward to their lobster. The next day we showed up and big sign said Thursday lobster live and local. We got seated and were told the specials and that they were out of lobsters. We were disappointed, earlier my husband ran into a family who said the lobster was really the only thing that was worth it. So as we were trying to figure what to eat a staff member pulled out of the ocean a large cage filled with lobsters. Two kids from another table had gone down to pick out a lobster. When our waitress came back to ask if we were ready I inquired about the lobster was told they were reserved. They had a large party coming in the next day and they had reserved the lobster. It just really upset me that they advertise the lobster and didn't tell me when I made the reservation that I would have to reserve a lobster. So we left. The waitress was very nice a paid for our drinks.
