“Excellent Property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Just returned from a stay at Seven Stars and we were very pleased. EXTREMELY clean with staff constantly maintaining the grounds as well as housekeeping taking care of the interior of the buildings. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating to us unlike a recent post here. There were staff everywhere whether you were at the pool, on the beach or in one of the restaurants. We had a smaller room on the second floor and it was very well appointed....small, granite-topped kitchen with everything you need to prepare food if you choose. Bathroom was spectacular, very comfortable bed, wifi in room, large TV, etc. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Ocean views were not as important to us so our room (which was a Jr. Suite Garden) was adequate. We...

We stayed in a one bedroom oceanfront suite and the property is very nice. However, we did feel slightly uncomfortable with some of the staff. The is the obligatory "service charge" attached to every transaction, but some of our interactions with staff would certainly not be worthy of any extra gratuity. Providenciales is a small place, and sometimes we felt less than welcome. We had been to Bora Bora a couple months earlier, also a small place, and found the people warm, welcoming and they appeared glad to have us there. Not so much at Seven Stars.

This is our second stay at Seven Stars within a year and I put the uncomfortable service the first time down to a few grumpy staff members, but we loved the property, so we returned. The uncomfortable service was still there.

A beautiful property, but the could learn a few things from Four Seasons or Rosewood about top notch customer service.

Room Tip: Try to have an oceanfront room that overlooks the pool, or your ocean front will overlooking an aban...

The resort is beautiful and the experience wonderful. The room was lovely. However, the wifi did not work in our building. We would not have booked here had we known that. It was our chief way to be reached by our children while gone. The staff tried to blame it on the entire internet service being down but as they were explaining this I was surfing the web in the lobby where the wifi was always good and strong. They did nothing to adjust our bill or try to accomodate us. That was disappointing. If you don't need wifi this place is great. After all I spent there I'm disappointed they did nothing to compensate for the broken promise.

CEOSevenStars, General Manager at Seven Stars Resort, responded to this review, September 23, 2013
Dear Chad G,

You stayed with us almost two years ago in November 2011.

During your stay we experienced some issues with our local network provider, which caused an intermittent problem with the complimentary WIFI in your suit.

We discussed and explained this in detailed correspondence with you after your stay and, again, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Internet was at all times available at your convenience in our lobby or business center.

The issue you experienced has long since been resolved and our complimentary WIFI now not only covers guest rooms, but also blankets the entire resort, including the beach.

My team and I look forward to your return to Seven Stars Resort where you can experience this along with the many other additions and improvements we have made at the resort over the past two years.

With warm regards,

Ken Patterson

Decided on Turks and Caicos rather than the hamptons this summer. Best decision ever! Gorgeous island, beautiful hotel, ocean view room, great food (though pricey), all for the right price for a summer beachfront vacation. Definitely going back next year.

My husband and I visited Providenciales the first week in September, staying at Seven Stars Grace Bay in an oceanfront one-bedroom suite, third floor, facing West. Wow! We have been to Provo twice before, both times staying at the Beaches Resort with our two (at the time) young children. We didn't have/take the opportunity to experience the island. It is wonderful--never saw a fast food restaurant, most of the locals we met were very kind and gracious, you feel safe, it is clean. The cab driver who took us to the airport after our stay actually thanked us for choosing to visit Provo out of all of the Caribbean Islands available!

Seven Stars is more than awesome! After getting through Customs and Immigration, there was someone at the airport to guide us to a taxi to get us to the resort ($16 per person). Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted with a cold rum punch. Our room was not yet ready, so we walked down to The Deck (restaurant/bar on the beach) and had lunch--very good and more than enough to eat (after that first lunch, the two of us always split a meal). What a view! Once we were taken to our room, we found that it was on the first floor, not we had requested/hoped for. Fiona is my angel--she was sympathetic and so thoughtful and located a room on a higher floor that we could move to the next day. She also had great dining recommendations--Mango Reef (a must--we went twice) and The Tiki Hut (Wednesday nights chicken and/or ribs for $13.99--the ribs fell off the bone).

The room(s) were beautiful--modern, clean, well-maintained, equipped with everything you could want and more. Breakfast was good, always hot, where appropriate, fresh and more than sufficient (probably why we didn't need as much for lunch), especially given it was "included"--and we were warmly greeted each morning by Evette (? I think).

I booked the private beach getaway through the resort--it was unbelievable! We were in the lobby at 9 am, promptly a van picked us up, drove five minutes or so to a dock, where Steve and Rodney were waiting on the boat. After a short boat ride, they dropped us off on an empty beach, set up a small cabana for us and left us with beach chairs, towels and a cooler with sodas, waters, wine, beer, lunch and fruit. They arrived back promptly at 3 pm, took everything down, loaded it back on the boat, drove us back to the dock, where the driver was waiting to take us back to the resort. Very well organized, and Steve and Rodney were so gracious and fun.

Everyone at the resort was nice and always greeted you. Lila, who took care of us at the beach (which is so beautiful!) each day, asked our names the first day and thereafter always greeted us by name. We never had a problem finding chairs and umbrellas on the beach, and the pool area was the same. The guys in the towel "booth" always greeted us and handed us four towels when we walked up. We usually ended each evening with a drink at The Deck--Norwyn was wonderful, remembered what we drank and was so much fun to talk to. Sara, a new manager, was also very friendly and welcoming.

We have been to quite a few different islands, always wanting to try new places, but I think we found our favorite in Provo. And, after being spoiled at Seven Stars, I am not sure I could stay anywhere else. We will definitely return, hopefully making it an annual trip!

Room Tip: Ocean front is a must, preferably not overlooking the pool if you want more privacy, and third floor...

My husband and I had never been to Turks and Caicos but had traveled to Nassau and Freeport on a frequent basis. We thought this would be similar to those islands. We were pleasantly surprised by this quiet and almost untouched island. Our son and his wife invited us to a week's stay at Seven Stars as an anniversary gift. We stayed In a 3 bedroom/3 bath condo on the beach with a view of Grace Bay that made us feel blessed by Mother Nature. Our room had a 4 poster canopy bed and a huge bathroom with an exquisite tub and shower. We had a small kitchen area in our suite. We also had access to the larger kitchen as my son booked the entire 3 bedroom for us and his wife's parents.

There is alot to do on the property if you are into the beach and pool. You can hang by the pool and drink/ eat to your hearts content. The grounds are well- maintained and there is security guard and guard house as you enter the main grounds of Seven Stars. There are bicycles available if you wish to cruise around the town. The bikes were free and they will give you a bike lock to use if you leave the grounds. We biked into town but there were only a few gift stores. We stopped at a restaurant called Danny Buoys for lunch and had conch fritters, which were great. There were also slot machines inside the restaurant if you are into gambling.

In the evening, we went to Coco Bistros Restaurant, which is walking distance from the Seven Stars. This is an expensive restaurant but this was a special occasion, celebrating our anniversary. We sat outside under the stars with palms trees, lightly blowing in the warm breeze. This is perfect restaurant in a very romantic setting. Make sure to spend an evening here.

We also had dinner one evening at the restaurant at the hotel, which was also very nice. We sat outside by the beach and enjoyed the ambiance of luxury. Everything is expensive so plan to spend a few bucks at this restaurant. There is a grocery store close by the hotel if you want to purchase some groceries and make your meals at the hotel.

My son rented a car for one day so we could drive around the island. There was not much to see except for a surprise visit for lunch at "Da Conch Shack." If you are into conch, this is the place. You can see the guy on the beach as he extracts the fresh conch from the conch shells for your lunch. This was something to see!!!! You will sit at a picnic table on the beach as you enjoy your fresh or fried conch. Make sure you have lunch here.

There is a Casino and the Casino people will pick you up at the hotel if you want to gamble. My husband and I closed the place at 4am and won $$$$ playing 3 card poker. The Casino also has some slot machines and other table games. The Casino is not big but very friendly people there. They also drove us back to the hotel.

Do not pass up a chance to stay at Seven Stars Resort. The place is awesome.

The only negative comment I can make is about the airport. We were searched twice before we could board American Airlines. We were taken into a back room with everyone staring at us and our luggage was opened and searched inside quite extensively-And just as we were about to board the plane, they pulled us aside again and searched my handbag. Enough!!!! My husband and I are retired law enforcement in our 60's so we understand security but we felt this put a slight damper on our whole trip. Of course, this is no fault of the hotel so enjoy Seven Stars Resort!!!!

I had a facial and deep tissue massage with Yna and it was wonderful! You could really tell a difference in my complexion ever since! The products she used were very effective and her techniques were relaxing. The massage was also great. I would highly recommend Yna and the spa at the resort.
