“Beautiful Way To Stay In Turks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

We did much research before our first visit to Turks, and selected the Regent Palms as our destination. What a great choice it was for us ! As you turn off the street and enter the driveway, you will be taken back by the beautiful grounds as you approach the lobby-grand entry way. The majestic stone entry way with it's white marble floors is breath taking. The lobby is all open air and opens into the the Palms gardens and water fall cobble stone walkway. The restaurant is great. Casual dining, good menu varity, great view of the garden area, good service. The food is top notch. The bar area is a bit small but ok. Serivce is good and drinks are made as you like them. The bar is attached to the restaurant. Causal breakfast is part of your room price and is ok. Usually made up of fresh fruits, granola, yogurt, and sweet roll. Our room was fantastic...although I will have to disclose that we went all out and got the penthouse room #3501. The kitchen, dining area, living room all are connected on one floor that all overlook the ocean and pool area through large glass windows and doors that open up to a huge patio area that features outside dining area for 6 and lounge area for 4. The large kitchen features a breakfast bar for 4, large fridge, oven-stove, microwave, full plates, glasses, etc. Double sink, dishwasher. The foyer features closet, extra bathroom with full washer and dryer. The dining area is next to the kitchen and features a large round wooden table. The living area has a large queen size pull out sofa, chairs, table, TV, and entertainment center that will fill the whole penthouse with music! The master bedroom features a king bed with crisp linens, a very large walk in closet with safe, a large 5 drawer chest and 32" LCD TV. The room has it's own sliding door that opens to a private varanda that features a outdoor bed/lounge with linens, outdoor table and chairs for two. The master bath is huge! Oversize double sink area, water closet with bidet, open walk in double shower, and large whirlpool tub. Next you can walk out of the shower area, through a large glass door into your private outdoor shower area!! Romantic outdoor showers gazing out at the night stars and looking at the ocean is over the top!! The pool area at the Plams is great! The pool help is on top of everything and willing to help at just a glance. Chairs are very comfortable, and the round beds that are placed next to the water are fun to try. Pool bar opens about 10:30 and features great drinks and a limited menu of good food. You can walk through the pool area and right out onto the white sugar sand beach. Here you will find hotel beach guys to help set up your chairs or cabana. The cabana's are great and are no cost ! This beach is rated #1 in the world and there is a reason...it's amazing! Many hotels and restaurants open up to the beach area and are only a short walk from the hotel. Should you want to really relax, book a 90 min full body couples massage at the spa. WoW what a experience! Ths spa area is detached from the hotel and is located just across the entry way drive. Here you will find a steam room, a sauna, shower, locker rooms, and semi private relaxing area to gaze at the reflection pool while you wait for the staff to take you into a treatment room. This massage was the -best- I have had anywere. My massuse was Shawnelle and was outstanding with pressure!! (i like strong hands, and she has them). Don't miss this if you get a chance. We walked up and down the beach checking out all the other hotels grounds and pool areas. Our opinion is that the Regent Palms is only rivaled by the Seven Stars Hotel area. No other property came close to the pool size, beauty of the grounds, and over all layout. Only one thing that I wish was different about this area, is the prices of things. Everything in Turks is very expensive! I would suggest a short cab ride to the IGA store there and pick up some food for your room to munch on. The IGA also sells beer, wine, and liquor. We bought our adult beverages there and took everything up to our room. We also took a soft side collapsible cooler and packed it with what we wanted to drink, to take down to the pool, beach area. The staff does not mind at all as you have no glass containers. This probably saved us over 1000.00 during our week stay. A single vodka/soda type drink is $10.00 at the pool bar, so you do the math. Overall we LOVED the Regent Palms and are already saving to vist here again!!

Room Tip: Single ocean view rooms that are the closest to the ocean also overlook the pool area and look like...

We visited Turks and Caicos for the first time at the end of August, 2012 and stayed at the Regent Palms for 10 days. The accommodations were perfect. We stayed at an ocean front, one bedroom suite with my husband and 2 kids. The room was more like an apartment. Very luxurious and spacious. The grounds were beautiful with a nice size pool and very comfortable high end lounging chairs and round beds!!! The food in the hotel was probably the best we had, in comparison to every other place we tried. The staff were really sweet and accommodating. The beach was pure paradise! We will definitely come back!

I am a very finicky traveler. My gf is less finicky but about different things. This place was amazing. The restaurant is the best or 2nd best on the island. The service is amazing, if a tad relaxed at times but that's the Caribbean. The beach is fantastic. Everyone is friendly. It is very romantic. Our room was perfect. I rec'd it to another couple newly married at work and they also said it was outstanding. I only stay at 4-5* resorts in Europe, US, Carib and this is one of the best I've ever been to. We stayed a week and did NOT want to leave.

Room Tip: we did not face the ocean, top floor but room was perfect with a lesser view.

We had a great experience here with our young son. Everyone on the staff was great, our room was very special (top floor suite facing the ocean). Best beach location with a wonderful pool. What more are you looking for?!!

My husband and I just spent 5 nights at The Regent Palms to celebrate our 25th wedding annivesary and it was magnificent. From the time we arrived it was an outstanding experience! Our room was imaculate, gorgeous, and had an amazing view of the beautiful beach. The staff were amazing and could not be more accomodating. The service was impeccable as well as the property of this resort. Parallel 23 far exceeded our expectations. It was surely a 5 star restaurant as well as a 5 star hotel.. The Regents Palms is so beautiful you don't even want to leave the property. If you do decide to leave there are many beautiful delicious restaurants within walking distance from the beach. If you are lucky enough to vacation at this resort the spa is a must! When you stay at The Regent Palms, you are totally catered to as if you were the only guest. It truely was the most romantic vacation we have had since our honeymoon 25 years ago. We definitely are going to try to go back next year in September. It was a great month to visit Turks and Caicos because it was less crowded and weather was perfect!

My wife and I spent seven nights at this luxurious resort starting this August 31st through September 6th. We can not say enough good things about it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was great and the beach magnificent. The staff would take you out onto the beach, set up lounge chairs with umbrellas for you, ask if you need any drinks or food and even bring you frozen fruit on toothpicks as a refreshment! The sand is white and the sea is clear blue! Heaven on earth. At the pool, they would set you up with towels and then cater to your needs. The restraunt, Parallel 23 was out of this world. We had steaks and seafood and even foie gras! Everything was delicious. I reccomend the seared tuna with foie gras and wasabi potatoes and also the waguye strip steak. Outstanding! The location on Grace Bay made it convenient to walk to other resorts to dine at their restraunts. The room we stayed in was a junior suite on the second floor of building one. Our balcony overlooked the pool and the beach. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Nice amenities. Definitely a five star experience.
