“Worst dinner ever!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

First to top it off had a reservations for 4 they could not find it. Finally they got us seating after 10 minutes. Order a conch salad for my appetizer and it took 25 minutes to come out. It was okay nothing to make you say Wow! Then I ordered the Lobster pasta which taste as if it came out of a box from the supermarket and they just added some cut up lobster. Overall the food wasn't great but the staff was friendly. Chef Nik came out and ask how was the food and apologize and comp one meal. After my first experience we definitely would not dine back there.

“Chef NIK rocks!”

This restaurant has a wonderful magical feel under the palms. Food was excellent. We enjoyed the snapper, grilled lobster and the grilled succulent pig.

“Wanted to Love it but...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Read some great reviews about this restaurant so we saved it for our last day for dinner. We ordered the cracked conch for an appetizer and it was good. One of us order the t-bone steak and it was deemed very good, the other ordered lamb and it was tasty. The one meal which wasn't so great was one of their signature dish called the "drunken bird". The cornish hen itself was OK but I've had better jerk sauces elsewhere. The plates were nicely presented however I believe the "sides" are put on the dishes a little prematurely so the "meat" is hot when it comes out but the sides are not so warm (kinda on the cool side). Plus my chicken had a nasty part to it that tasted like the mushy part of a lobster tail and I couldn't distinguish what it was so I didn't even attempt to eat what was left (it somewhat turned me off the rest of it). The service was very good (even though we had reservations for six they weren't set up yet for dinner so we sat in the lounge area for about 15 minutes). The ambiance is also very nice. If you don't like cats don't got there since they roam around the dinner tables once the food comes out.

“Great Martini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

Tried my first conch fritters here that were delicious. Great dirty martini and good service. Our waiter was professional and fun. He even sang!

“food and service below average.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014 via mobile

First we arrived and they did not have our reservations. They finally sat us after searching for our reservations for a good ten minutes. Appetizer came out in probably 30 minutes and was good we had the cracky conch. But then it took over 45 minutes for our dinner to come and when it finally did they brought out the wrong meals for two people at the table. When the brought out the right meals, the grouper it was cold. The comped one meal but all the meals were bad. My lobster pasta was boxed pasta with ragu jarred sauced. We saw another table wait for there check for our an hour! We will not return. One wasted dinner on vacation.
