“The best coconut grouper,”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

We really enjoyed this dinner! We were a group of 10 and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The service and food was outstanding and the prices comparatively speaking we're great! Although the eating isn't the best on the main road the food, service and drinks made up for it! One of our best meals on the island where we did not have a bad dinner! Highly recommend to families.

“A Nice Change of Pace”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

Mr. Grouper's had a low key atmosphere and great prices, which was a nice change of pace from the restaurants located inside the beachfront hotels. My husband got the coconut grouper - he thought it was only okay. I (as a vegetarian), got a plate of side dishes, which included steamed veggies (yum), green salad, baked potato, and mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was disgusting in my opinion - it had a thick layer of melted cheese on top that had turned hard. I actually fed it to a stray dog that was camped out next to our table. Everything else was fine though. And the drinks were great! The view wasn't much - it's located off the beaten path so you can't see the water. It's also very hot on the patio so I would recommend waiting until sundown.

“Good coconut grouper!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

We've been going to Mr. Grouper for a couple years now during our trips to Provo. It's a great casual, laid back restaurant, frequented by locals and tourists alike. We love the conch fritters and the coconut grouper. Can't wait to go back!

“Hidden Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

We never would have known about this place had it not been for Rosa at Paradise Scooter's. Not on the beach but worth checking out. Close enough to the resorts to make the extra effort to get there. A home cooking feel with the meals. Wish we would have tried it sooner. Would have liked to eaten there more than once.

“Delicious No Frills”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

They do what they do well. If you aren't feeling fancy this is a great stop to get fresh and perfectly cooked grouper with super friendly owner and staff. Easy on the budget. I think about the Coconut Grouper all year. Can't wait to go back.
