We were adventurous and drove to Bugaloo's our first night in TCI. It wasn't the easiest place to find and could use some overt signs...but that could be said for most of Provo. I enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere more than the food, having opted for an average chicken dish. It was a good mixture of locals and tourists with a live band and a bit of dancing going on. Because it was relatively dark and I didn't know much about the place before going, I suspected we were by the ocean. Further into the trip we went back during the day and had a great experience. What a beautiful location! What else can you order but conch anything when "Bones" is sitting in the ocean (coconut rum and boat fashioned from a broken surf board on the side), tenderising the conch meat he just harvested from the ocean! Conch fritters it was! We had already had great conch fritters on the island, but this wasn't just scrumptious because of the spices but because of the freshness. Mr. Williams (the owner) was also very engaging to chat with. I will go back and not just because he promised to put a ring on my finger next time! lol
