“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

This was my first experience snorkeling. We walked to the reef from The Alexandra Resort - only about a 20 minute walk. Just beautiful! We saw so many fish and even a turtle! We spent nearly 2 hours here the first day and returned the next day to do it again!

“If you like snorkelling, this is the place to go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

This is some of the best snorkelling I have ever done! It's easy because it's right off the island, so you don't need a boat to get there. We only saw one turtle unfortunately, but you'll see so many types of fish. It never gets boring!

“Better condition than Coral Gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

The reef here, near Turtle Cove, is in better condition than what can be seen at Coral Gardens. As stated in my related review, Coral Gardens is good for beginners who need to stay close to a rope. Less people at Bight Reef. For really great reef, take a boat ride out to the deeper water.

“Good Spot for an off beach snorkel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

We walked down the beach to the reef from our resort. Easy access, you can just wade in. Lots of beautiful fish. Interesting coral. Our 9 year old daughter has recently become a very strong swimmer and really enjoyed the experience. The best part was her telling us how "awesome" it was when she got out of the water. Would recommend this as a great snorkelling experience for all, but especially kids around her age who are just beginning to experience the wonder of the sea.
