We had a 2nd floor room with an ocean view, and split our days between our balcony and the beach. Grace Bay is a gorgeous corner of Turks and Caicos but many resorts are big and busy. Not the Beach House. We had a very relaxing 6 days, surrounded by soft, tan sand, turquoise water, and plenty of sun. Our fellow travelers ranged from families with young kids to retired couples, but people were pleasant and friendly. Hotel staff was charming and helpful. Don't miss the Thursday Fish Fry at the park down the way: your cab drivers and beach staff will steer you there, and it's a locally produced event.

Location is almost everything - great service makes the stay exceptional. Grace Bay beach is spectacular but the location of the Beach House cannot be understated - it is at a quiet end of the beach, away from the crowds yet near enough to get the central Provo vibe. The Beach House is also part of the widest stretch of beach with gorgeous turquoise waters and easy access to fabulous snorkeling. But what stands out for this 21 room boutique hotel is the unparalleled service - from the restaurant staff to beach staff to room staff to front office staff - the attention to guest services makes for a standout hotel experience. Our suite "dream" was just that - a huge, beautiful veranda on the second floor with a large spacious indoor living area made our vacation relaxing all day and night.

Room Tip: Second floor is the best to see above the dunes.

Stayed at the Beach House for the first time for one night (prior to flying back to the U.S.) after staying on another island nearby for a week. Beautiful property with lovely pool area, restaurant and beach access. But our 2nd floor room "Deserved" was the most wonderful surprise. Very spacious, modern and comfortable with a nice kitchen area and huge balcony. We would have loved to be able to stay there longer. Great ocean view from the balcony, furnished with table and chairs and a comfy lounging bed-couch. Ate dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and had good meal, and one excellent Mai Tai poolside prior to our airport departure. Staff was friendly and accommodating, storing our bags after checkout for a later departure.

My wife & I enjoyed a week at The Beach House February 16-23, 2015. The Beach House offered us a unique resort alternative with its small number of suites in a relaxed atmosphere. The Manager (Vianel) greeted us on arrival and escorted us to our spacious suite (named “Cool Change” – there are no numbers). The staff were very pleasant – Sherman on the beach was always helpful with a smile on his face. The twice-a-day housekeeping staff – Marie, Nadine & Natalie - were very efficient and a pleasure to talk with. You are made to feel comfortable approaching staff and asking questions or making special requests.

The suite was very comfortable and everything functioned as expected. The relaxed/quite atmosphere and comfy beds set the stage for sleeping well at night. Although many reviews recommend the 2nd & 3rd floor suites – we enjoyed a 1st floor ocean front suite where you can still see the water and avoid the stairs.

The beach is outstanding with beach “pods” assigned to your suite. A 5 minute walk along the beach takes you to a small reef for snorkeling where we saw an assortment of fish (including a barracuda) and a sea turtle. The beach allows for long walks along beautiful sand (basically no stones) with the waves lapping at your feet.

The island of Providenciales feels safe and we enjoyed shopping at a variety of stores and galleries. We visited nearby grocery stores and made a few meals in our suite (no stove but there is a large fridge & microwave). The Beach House restaurant (Kitchen 218) has an excellent menu and dining atmosphere.

An advantage of Providenciales is that the airport is close to the resorts (10 minute ride to The Beach House) – so you have a chance of enjoying time on the beach on your arrival day and not necessarily having to catch an early airport transfer on your last day.

So if you’re looking for a smaller/boutique resort, with a great beach, a relaxed atmosphere and excellent service – try The Beach House!

12-19 February 2015

We recently returned from our first holiday in Turks and Caicos and we cannot say enough good things about our stay at Beach House!

From the moment we arrived at the airport, we felt welcome. A Beach House Representative enthusiastically ushered us to a waiting taxi. Ten minutes later we arrived in "Paradise"! Hendrika greeted us at the front desk like we were old friends and took us on a personal tour of the property (lovely, welcoming rum drinks in hand!) Our room was a gorgeous two-bedroom suite (all rooms are suites at the resort) with beautiful views of the pool and Grace Bay Cove. Our suite was enormous (much bigger than it appears in the website pictures): Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with a dining table, a full kitchen with island and a fabulous patio with a platform lounge bed and arm chairs. Ceiling fans and central air-conditioning keep the rooms perfectly comfortable.

We immediately headed down to the beach where we met Sherman and Roger - two in-house dynamos who made certain our stay exceeded our expectations throughout the week! All guests have a "personal pampering pod" beachside that is yours for the length of your stay (no silly saving of chaise lounges here!) Kayaks, paddle boards, Hobie Cat, floating/sunbathing bean bags, beach toys for the children, footballs, frisbees, unlimited fluffy towels and more are complimentary and all at your fingertips while enjoying the amazing water views from the beachfront. **Of note: Beach House has two vacant grassy lots on either side, so you really feel like you are on your own private beach. The same cannot be said for the many resorts further down the beach - very, very crowded**

At Beach House, everything we could have asked for was there for us! Lunch can be ordered from your chaise lounge or from tables with sweeping views of Grace Bay (highly recommend the conch fritters!) A short walk up from the beach brings you to the pool, restaurant, bar and patio area, all nestled together amidst the coconut trees and other lush, flowering vegetation. A perfect respite for cooling off and relaxing after a full day spent beachside!

Kitchen 218 is a lovely way to start your day with delicious, fresh breakfast foods. French toast, pancakes, "Umi" Omelettes, Fruit Smoothies, Eggs any style, Yoghurt Parfaits; the list to choose from was vast and everything we sampled was outstanding! Dorothy was our daily server and she was lovely beyond belief - without fail she remembered all of our preferences and made certain to have our favourites on hand! The chef made several appearances during our stay and was more than willing to make any accommodations for dietary needs. One of our favourite things about this hotel was the daily surprise the chef sent to the beach - amazing chocolate truffles, freshly made juice pops (perfect way to quench thirst while lounging in the sun), delicious cookies - a really nice, homey touch! (Ditto for evening turn-down snack surprises!)

Although, we didn't use the spa services, they sounded divine and you can elect to have beachside services, as well as spa room services! The gym is small, but had all the equipment we needed for our daily workouts (had to work off the tasty conch fritters!) Elliptical, Treadmill, Stationary Bike, Weights, Yoga Balls, Weight Bench and Circuit Trainer are all available from 7 am to 10 pm.

Even though Beach House is a perfect place to escape and relax, for those who cannot be without wifi, never fear!!! The amazing connection works throughout the ENTIRE property, including the beach!!

Another advantage of staying at the Beach House was the convenience of the Hotel Shuttle Service. Three properties are owned by the managing company and complimentary shuttle service is provided between the three properties - perfect if you want to sample some of the other restaurants at Blue Haven or The Alexandra Resorts (although, it really isn't necessary to leave Beach House - Three meals a day can easily be eaten here each day - a wide variety of delicious food!) If you prefer to leave the hotel and stroll along the beach in search of food, we highly recommend "Somewhere" which is just past the neighbouring vacant lot...excellent food and nice staff. Thursday nights are Fish Fry nights just a short walk down the beach - 14 area restaurants displaying their wares, live music and a carnival type atmosphere!

With respect to the other resorts in town, we were very happy we ended up selecting Beach House. Many other resorts were much bigger in terms of acreage, but bigger in size meant a larger number of visitors, more noise and distractions, less room on the beach, less time allotted for use of beach equipment and a completely different relationship with the resort staff.

Beach House felt like a perfect home away from home! The staff was genuine and catered to our every need. Maradona's recommendations of sights to see were spot on and she kindly sent us out with some paperbacks, sun brollies and plenty of beach towels to take on our day trip to Taylor Bay (not many other resorts we have visited have been so accommodating with supplies!)

**A special note of thanks to Marie and Nadine who took impeccable care of our suite - our youngest child became ill from sun exposure and they couldn't have been more gracious expressing their concern for his health. They repeatedly offered their assistance and checked on him often throughout his ordeal. We very much appreciated their help!**

Thank you to the ever gracious manager Vianel Filpo for providing us with such outstanding service and to his FANTASTIC staff for making every moment of our Beach House stay one to remember!

Without hesitation, we would stay here again...and again...and again!!!!

We cannot wait to return to "Paradise"!

As a return guest, we knew just what to expect. The Beach House is the antithesis of a big, crowded, opulent resort. Clean, friendly, simple. After a ten minute cab ride from the airport, check-in is in a small lobby where Maradonna greets you with a smile and minutes later you are escorted to your room with a great view of the ocean (most of the 21 suites are oceanfront). A cabana is reserved for you on a calm, uncrowded stretch of beach so you never have to worry about putting towels out to "save" your spot on the beach. A short walk down the beach to the higher capacity resorts makes you so thankful that you are staying at the Beach House.
Sherman and Roger on the beachfront help you with the Hobie catamaran or paddle boards (which are usable but could use upgrading) or take your drink orders. This isn't the type of resort where crisp uniformed employees wait on you hand and foot. The atmosphere is more casual but still attentive enough and we always welcome a visit from Sherman around two o'clock when he arrives with homemade apricot popsicles.
The Kitchen 218 restaurant is poolside and had the best food we enjoyed during our recent stay. The atmosphere of the restaurant is low key so if you are looking for a high energy restaurant this wouldn't be your first pick but if you are looking for excellent presentation and high quality entrees, the Kitchen 218 restaurant is a good choice.
The Beach House rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Not fancy, but very comfortable. When we return to the Turks and Caicos we will definitely plan on staying at the Beach House again.

Room Tip: Second floor, oceanfront suites have the best balconies and view. Third floor, oceanfront two bedro...
