“Great place at Descent Price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

This place is in a great location on Grace Bay in Provo! Staff is friendly. It's a combo of hotel and timeshare units. Rooms have full kitchens, laundry, & porch. They have beach front property and a pool. The Mango Reef Restaurant at the property serves a good meal. The pace of their staff is slower but I found that island wide. We had a great dinner on the beach there. Lots of activities available there. Island is quieter than others but I'm a fan. Very peaceful!

The Alexandra's Tropical Karaoke Night was an orgy of musical, social, and romantic pleasure hitherto unheard of nor experienced previously by the diverse assemblage of guests on that starry, starry night.

With the ocean providing a cinematic backdrop, we crooned till our collective hearts were content - intoning motifs and melodies which ranged from Bon Jovi to LL Cool J to Bob Marley to Tim McGraw - no artists was safe from our boundless renditions of classic hits.

Olivia and DJ Cameo were gracious hosts, ensuring that all were included in the festivities. The highlight of the evening was the anonymous "ringer" from New York City who rocked the house and rang the Island bells!

I would like to say this hotel is gorgeous and the service is outstanding. My only complaint was that I was not able to stay longer had to return back to work. I stayed in a studio suite with my four year old daughter they treated us so well and I have recommended this resort to other friends and coworkers. I will return back here next year.

This is one of the nicest hotels in Provo, Turks and Caicos . The staff was friendly and very accommodating and the rooms were large enough for 2 and very clean with a small kitchen, and I am sure the one and four bedroom ones if anyone can afford must be amazing. The pool was wonderful too, and the beach just out of this world. The restaurant had the BEST food in the whole island. Tried 3 other restaurants with disappointing results. Great lunch, great dinner and the location just perfect, on the beach. If red snapper is your thing have it here.

Room Tip: Ask for room 4507 on the 5 th floor. The sunsets were amazing from the balcony. There is a noise is...

We stayed at Alexandra for 2 weeks over March Break. Location in Grace Bay is amazing. Beach is long, clean, with lots of chairs and umbrellas, and relatively calm waters. Walking distance to amazing coral reef snorkelling, right off the beach. Very close to a lot of good restaurants (by taxi, which front desk can call fairly quickly, or car). Mango Reef restaurant on the property has an extensive menu, and dinner right on the beach. Close to IGA supermarket. Kitchen is well stocked with basics. Very friendly and prompt service. Most staff speak good English. Lots of pool and beach toys available for the kids. We did not get a chance to try the kids' camp, but the scheduled activities there looked fun. Our room was facing the pool, but we could still see the beach and the gorgeous sunsets from the balcony. Everything on the resort is close by. It's quiet at night. The units and balcony are spacious and well layed-out. Ask for a room in Chelsea or Lady Rose buildings - bigger units facing the beach.
A few things I didn't like: Older building, so we had plumbing problems with both (!) toilets twice. Shower is tiny and had no flexible head, which made it hard to wash the kids. Water was a bit smelly. One side of the pool had a strong smell from the washroom. Pull-out couch in the living room is old, lumpy and so uncomfortable.

Room Tip: Ask for Chelsea or Lady Rose buildings.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We hope you will stay with us again so your children can try the pelican Kids' Club - it's becoming very popular with our younger guests. We are very sorry to learn you had plumbing issues in your unit, as this is not a normal occurrence. We are in the process of upgrading some of the furnishings in the units and will address your feedback regarding the mattress on the sofa bed.

Just finishing up 2 weeks at the Alexandra. Weather, beach, island always beautiful. Our beachfront 2 bedroom unit was spacious, clean and became our second home. Enjoyed view from awesome balcony. Staff very accommodating, very friendly, courteous and anxious to please. Gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit, activities and restaurants. Enjoyed Karoke night with Cameo and Olivia tonight. Got everyone up singing and dancing.

We just came back from a fun night of singing at the Alexandra Resort. The karaoke hosts Cameo and Olivia were fantastic, they encouraged us to get up and sing...what a blast!

Grab your friends...all voices are welcomed. Cameo will find your song/s and make you feel comfortable getting up, even if you are shy at first.

Get your fun on!

Thanks!
