“Villa Renaissance - Suite Margarita”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

My husband and I stayed in Suite Margarita for a week in May. This was our third May visit in a row. (Previously at Veranda and then Cottage Suite @ Point Grace). The Villa Renaissance location is definitely the BEST location. We walked to dinner all but one night.
The suite is very beautiful and a great layout. Ocean front balcony for morning coffee and evening sunset. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Allied Management was very helpful and housekeeping daily was top notch.
The owner Margo provides all of the info you need to get around the island regarding restaurants, grocery ( shopping cart provided), spa services and water activities.
The best endorsement I can give is that we have already booked Suite Margarita for May 2015!!

We just recently returned from our third trip to Provo and our second stay at Villa Renaissance. Our first visit to VR was in August of 2012 and as soon as we walked into the open air lobby, we knew we would absolutely love it! After that wonderful week and my boyfriend proposing to me on the beach, we decided that we wanted to marry in Provo in front of VR. After almost two years of planning, we made the trip down with 16 family members in tow.

As with our first visit, Bentley was wonderful and attentive to whatever we needed. Shereen was super sweet and so helpful with any questions we had and, the rest of the staff and grounds keepers were very friendly and always made sure to say good morning or good after noon to us. The rooms were nice and clean, just as they were on our last trip and the convenience of being right next to so many stores, a grocery, and a variety of restaurants is truly hard to beat.

The wedding could not have been more perfect! The landscaping at VR is so well taken care of and made for many beautiful photo ops. The walkway to the beach made a perfect isle and we had the beach all to ourselves.

We will definitely stay at VR again in the near future. Hopefully my husband will surprise me with a one year anniversary there. ;o)

Thank you again Villa Renaissance and your staff for a wonderful experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Our family of five with extended family stayed here. We had booked the villa palazzo suite through allied management and everyone who we dealt with were courteous and very friendly.

Our first day the a/c broke but by the second day it was repaired...in addition, one of our luggage was lost but was retrieved by the second day, too. We might have been anxious and difficult but they responded calmly so I have to give them a big plus on this!
The location of the villa is perfect...there are many restaurants, shops that you can walk to and the grocery store is a 10 minute walk. Try to get to the store early in the morning or towards the evening. I am glad that we did not rent a car for the entire week. We rented only for one day to Sapodilla Bay and then to Coral Gardens to snorkel through Gracebay rental car. Try to contact them before you leave your home and they will bring it to your place and pick it up.
Coral Gardens was packed, not what it use to be few years ago. There are too many new resorts there that I was glad to be back to Villa renaissance where it was much quieter and less people.

Oh, the last 2 days, my sister and my daughter found out you can borrow their bikes to get to the store. We walked on the beach to eat at Hemingways. I would highly recommend but make reservations the day before. We also tried Pizza Pizza twice. It's better to carryout and eat in to save the wait. We also tried Mango Reef (our favorite), Las Brisas, and Thai Orchid. Thai Orchid wasn't too good. Would not go back there if someone paid me.

Few of our rooms were beautiful facing the ocean. You can even see it while enjoying your breakfast. Our other rooms that faced the pool were also quiet...my boys never complained of it. We had the washer and dryer that were handy and having the kitchen there made everything easier.
By the way, I met Bentley who worked here...yes, the one who received so many kind reviews. Yes, he is nice and also honest. He helped us book a boat trip and we had a fabulous time. Caicos Dream tour was the highlight of our trip. The boat we rode in was called Sundancer. The captain (J? and Girard) were great!. Took us to a reef where we snorkeled, then to King George Island, stayed there for 45 min., went to the sandbar (this place was gorgeous!!!) we snorkeled for conch. They made conch salad, fed us sandwiches and some snapper for lunch. This trip was better than the first one I took 3 yrs ago...(btw. skip iguana island) Well worth the money!
Since this was our 3rd trip to T&C, I must say Villa renaissance was the best. We stayed at Royal West Indies 6yrs ago and our last experience at Villa Del Mar 3 yrs. ago left a scar however, we decided to bring our extended family to show how beautiful Turks were and they did agree it the water is beautiful and looks just as the picture says. Thanks Villa Renaissance for great memories!

Villa Renaissance is a beautiful place on an absolutely gorgeous beach. Our family of 6 adults were very comfortable and very happy in our 3 bedroom 3 bath beachfront villa. The grounds are well kept. The pool is clean and inviting. The week we were there the pool and beach were never crowded. Drinks prepared by Bentley and lunch delivered from the Vix were thoroughly enjoyed poolside. We had a private chef (Chef Becky from Sea Salt) come prepare us an amazing breakfast and memorable dinner using the equipment in the well stocked kitchen. The location is excellent -- easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and of course the beach which is just steps away! Shereen and Bentley were wonderful. We definitely want to go back to the Turks and Caicos, and there is no question that when we do, we will stay at Villa Renaissance.

We stayed in a 3rd floor, two bedroom unit overlooking the ocean which had a wonderful view of Grace Beach. We liked everything about this property and it was a great place to spend a relaxing, quiet vacation with our family members including our 3 year old grandson who spent most of his play time divided between the ocean and the hotel pool. The hotel facilities are beautiful and clean. The Villa Renaissance is in an excellent location next to a little town with most basic amenities. For those who what an exciting vacation with bars and restaurants, this may not be the property for you. The Villa has no restaurant and a small pool bar. The evenings are quiet with most people returning to their rooms early. Night life is available but you will have to walk along the beach to one of the nearby resort hotels or take a taxi which can be expensive in the Turks.

We were rather shocked we we arrived on a Sunday as it seemed like a ghost town. We had requested a room on a higher floor but the receptionist said she had no knowledge of this. After complaining we were given a big discount in compensation. Our unit on the ground floor was very nice and we got used to it. It was very handy for the beach which is fabulous and not crowded. Powder white sand and crystal clear water. Grace bay area is quiet which suited us and the hotel was very conveniently situated for restaurants, shops and the supermarket.

The best words to describe this hotel is LOCATION !LOCATION ! LOCATION ! This hotel is smack in the middle of all the action. I stayed here last year and loved it. I went back this year and the unit we had this year #208 was the absolute best. The owners of this condo provided everything for renters that you could possibly want. I brought some Acrylic champagne glasses with me and to my surprise, the owners had some there and they were glass !
The staff welcomed me back with delight and open arms. They truly help make the Villa Renaissance what it is ... a hotel that people truly enjoy.
I am going back to Turks next Summer and am staying here AGAIN!!

Room Tip: I loved 208 (which is a 3 bedroom) it is ocean front and has the absolutely best views!!
