“We'll Worth It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

Did the half day snorkeling cruise with Island Vibes. We booked it through our hotel, Villa Del Mar. The boat ride was spectacular and very, very clean. The Captain and First-Mate were awesome and really friendly. Probably the highlight of our trip. They brought us to an island where they cooked us lunch (conch, lobster, and fish) salad. They had plenty of snacks and drinks ( beer, water, and soda). Even if you don't want to snorkel or dive off the diving board you will have a great time and feel no pressure. Cost was $89 per person but well worth it. Highly recommend this trip.

“The highlight of our trip...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

So great we did it again the next day! If you are looking for a fun (and safe) day these are your guys.

After noticing all of the happy people getting off an Island Vibe boat one day we decided to call them to book a trip. Mo and Tank picked us up on the beach in front of our hotel and we could tell it was the start of a great day. They took us to an an amazing reef to snorkel and Tank even came in the water with us to show us around. He took our gopro camera and dove down in to a hole in the reef and then popped out of another one. Crazy. (to me anyway). The whole day was great including the conch salad they made, jumping off the top of the boat, and the snorkelling. What made it so great was Moe and Tank. They are completely awesome. On the way back to the resort they spotted a stingray and stopped the boat so we could put our masks back on and check it out. They could have continued on but it's the special touches like this that set them apart.

There were 8 of us on the boat, from different resorts and we caught up with another Island Vibes boat. They had about 8 people as well. They could have put us all on to one boat with room to spare but instead they have two boats out so that every guest can be cared for and safe.

Our second day started the same, but with John and Cardi (sorry if I'm spelling names wrong). After John diving in and spearing some fresh fish (he's one talented hunter) we continued on and they found a place to snorkel even though the ocean waves were much higher than the day before. John came in to the water while we snorkelled. He showed us around and then helped one of the beginners get back to the boat when she had troubles with the waves.

Afterwards John let us help him dive for conch (i'd never even touched a conch before but he pointed one out and asked if we wanted to try to dive for it - i got it!!) They made us an amazing lunch with the catch (spear) of the day and the conch. We had a dance party (all 8 of us on the boat), jumped off the top and headed back to the resorts.

I should mention that both trips kept the rum punch flowing to those that wanted it, as well as plenty of water, pop and other beverages. There is seriously nothing lacking when you go on an adventure with this company. Our last time on the island we used another company and there is no comparison. Everyone loved the day.

My husband also kept commenting on how clean and cared for their boats are. Top notch all the way.

A huge thanks to Moe, Tank, John and Cardi!! Huge. You were all awesome. We honestly loved your trips more than anything else we did while on the island. I know I didn't mention all of the great parts of the day but there were so many I couldn't possibly cover them all.

Michelle and Terry
(hopefully some photos to come later). :)

“Great time!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

We had a great time with Mo & Tank. They were both very courteous & very friendly. We went snorkeling, explored an island, had some great conch ceviche, which they made with some conch shells the found in the ocean. Our kids had a blast, especially at the end when they were diving off the top of the boat! We would definitely recommend this to anyone & we will come again!

“Fun & variety”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

We've taken a few snorkel trips in our adventures but this was one of our favorites. The boat picked us up around 8:45 right from our beach. The boat was comfortable the guys are causal and fun. They took us to a great spot to snorkel (for about 30-45 minutes) and we followed their lead to see the best things (he dove down to point out fish and coral). After snorkeling we went to an area where one of the guys hunted for conch in the water. When he found 3, we headed to another beach area that felt like a private, deserted island. He shelled and cleaned the conch for us and tossed the unwanted parts into the water for the fish. Within minutes a cute 2 foot lemon shark showed up for the treat! We swam with the little shark (he tried to stay away from us) for a while and dug up conch shells (from previous trips) in the water then headed up to enjoy the conch ceviche they made on board from the bounty. On the way back, we stopped at a deep spot in the bay and took turns jumping/diving off the roof of the boat (10 feet) while music played. Then we dropped people back off at their beaches and got to see the resorts close up. A great trip. Worth the cost and fills a 1/2 day. Make sure you bring sunscreen!

“One of the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Lots of charter tripe here, but these are some of the most friendly, down-to-earth and just plain fun. I'm not going to knock the "eco" trips, but it is possible to be eco minded without using music players of whale song, and kayaks.

Sometimes I just think "get real". Enjoy the place for what it is, not some green fantasy, and these are the guys to do it with.
