“Perfect relaxing island villa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2011

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Harbour Club Villas and Marina. It was perfect! The owners Marta and Barry are very nice and helpful with everything. They keep the grounds soo beautiful. We had a couple of rainy days (not usual for them in May) and Marta left some board games in our villa. She also set up our car rental and dives prior to us arriving. There is a grill at your disposal and a pool. It is soo quiet and relaxing. Loved having a kitchen! We had coffee and a nice breakfast that we made every morning. The view out the dining room window looked like a beautiful picture.
If you are a diver this place is perfect. The marina is in walking distance. We used Caicos Adventures -Marta's suggested them and set everything up- and we are soo happy she did. It is not your typical dive boat. It is more like a catamaran with an upper deck. There was room to lay out and relax - soo nice. The staff was very professional and fun. Diving was great- saw black tip reef sharks on every dive. Saw an eagle ray in the distance! Really enjoyed every dive.
We drove to Grace Bay beach almost every day- 5 minute drive- and were happy we chose this hotel as compared to resorts on the beach. It just had such a relaxing feel- and we had all the comforts of home. Marta and Barry also provide beach chairs and a cooler- Marta would put it in the freezer for us so it was nice and cool in the morning!
Conch Shack is a must do! Soo much fun. Magnolias food is amazing- if your going to have a romantic night this is the place. The supermarkets are very expensive so be prepared- we were able to pick select items and only spend $40 but if you want a loaf of bread it is $12 and cheese is $16. A case of Guiness was $64. Just to give you an idea.
Overall great vacation!

Very clean, owner managed small Inn. Lush tropical foilage on an island that is otherwise quite dry. Hillside views overlooking a saltwater lake. We waded for bonefish every day. Numerous beaches nearby. We had a car and found that helpful for exploring the island and going out to dinner. Private bedroom plus a second king/queen bed in an alcove. Much, much larger than a typical hotel room plus a private patio.

Marta and Barry made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their knowledge of the islands is top notch; and they were very willing to share tips and advice which made our stay so great!...Harbour Club Villas is the perfect place to stay on Provo. If you are looking for a quaint, romantic, away from all the crowds, this is the perfect place. The villas are very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our time there including nights of the bbq by the pool area grilling out and enjoying the view. By the time we left, it felt as though we were leaving family behind. They are the ultimate hosts (even though they are Canadians). I travel all over the world to scuba dive and this was truely one of the most accommodating places I've stayed. Thanks for a great place to stay

Room Tip: no need for advice here...every villa is amazing!!

Barry and Marta were very friendly and knowledgable about the island. Marta arranged for a rental car to be there in the morning. We arrived in the evening and Marta had wine and local beer waiting in our room, as we requested. The rooms are clean and its like having your own home for the week. Its very private as so your not hearing what your neighbors are doing, unlike staying at one of the big resorts. It was just what we wanted since we were on our honeymoon! We were able to use the kayaks and snorking gear and ice chest, beach chairs basically everything we needed was there. If your looking for something from the crowded resorts this is a great place to stay and the attitude and hospitality from barry and Marta make it even more comfortable. If you want a secluded beach check out Taylor Bay, it's beautiful and heavenly!

Room Tip: All the villas are good

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Marta and Barry are the perfect host. Harbour Club Villas is the perfect place to stay on Provo. If you are looking for a quaint, romantic, away from all the crowds, this is the perfect place. My husband and I got married in Provo and the wedding could not have been more perfect. Marta went beyond herself to make sure our wedding was perfect. Anything I needed, Marta took care of it from the location, flowers, cake, photographer, dinner reservations, etc. Marta and Barry sent us to several secluded, beautiful beaches to find the perfect location for our wedding. We chose Taylor Bay. It was absolutely beautiful. We also spent three different days on beautiful secluded beaches where we were the only ones there and we never could have found them if it weren't for our wonderful hosts. If you take the kayaks out from the harbour, just around the bend is a wonderful secluded beach. I have nothing but positive things to saw about Harbour Club Villas and can't wait to go back and visit our new friends soon. If you want a high rise hotel with hundreds of guests, then don't stay here. If you want a wonderful, small, intimate villa, then you won't be disappointed. The screnery in and around the area is breathtaking. You will need to rent a car to get around.

From the second we arrived we knew Marta and Barry were going to be wonderful hosts, they were welcoming, thoughtful and knowledgable. In fact, their knowledge of the island is what truly made our holiday. Each day we visited a different, deserted and idyllic beach. Each night we sampled a variety of the islands fantastic cuisines on their recommendations. The villas were well equipped and clean with wonderful views of flamingo lake. Would highly recommend staying here and hiring a jeep rather than staying on Grace Bay. A great base for exploring the island and somewhere we would love to return. Thank you Marta and Barry!!!

Harbour Club Villas and Marina is a terrific place to stay for those who prefer a more intimate setting and not hustle and bustle of a crowded all-inclusive resort. The hosts Barry and Marta are very low-key and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their knowledge of the islands is top notch; and they were very willing to share tips and advice which made our stay so great! Marta arranged both dinner reservations and a boat trip for us which made the stay so much fun. We used their kayaks to paddle to a secluded beach nearby and combined some exercise with our fun.

The villas are very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our time there. On the few nights we dined in we took advantage of the bbq by the pool area to grill some local fish for an exquisite dinner. Sunset cocktails in the marina area was another highlight and gave us some great photo memories. All in all this was a superb vacation experience.

Room Tip: In my experience all of the rooms here are great.
