“Awesome place to stay on Providenciales/Grace Bay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2010

West Bay Club is outstanding in every way. We rate this as one of our best family vacations ever. We stayed in a luxury 2 bedroom suite and it was incredible. We were on the first floor and walked from our patio to the beach. Clean, spacious, nicely furnished with awesome beds! I've never slept so well on vacation. Service was great at the Atlantic Grill - which has very good food. Cleaning was great (Rose was awesome) as she asked us when we preferred her to clean. Beach crew was attentive and took great care of us. Beach location is one of the best on Grace Bay. While there we checked out a number of other places and West Bay Club has one of the best stretches of beach. Feels like a private beach. Easy to get to from the airport (I recommend a rental car - Grace Bay) and easy access to restaurants and activities on the island. If you want a quiet, relaxing place - West Bay Club is it. We can't wait to go back!

We have been to the island several times and this was our first time staying at West Bay Club. The penthouse was well decorated, clean, spacious, and had great beds. Every bedroom was up-to-date with ipod home docking stations, flatscreen TVs and DVD players. The furniture was comfortable. The closets and bathrooms were large, well designed and modern. We had a wonderful family dinner on the beach. My only complaint was the slow service at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch, but maybe we just needed to slow our clocks to "island time".

The West Bay Club was EXACTLY the kind of resort we were looking for. Quiet, beautiful and stress free. The one bedroom luxury suite was gorgeous and after a small glitch in the air-conditioning (fixed immediately), we were set.

The grounds were immaculate with the exception of the gas grill which was filthy. I have been on a diet so we were hoping to use the grill for some fresh chicken, steaks and fish, but were unable to do so. No problem, we made it work in the well appointed kitchen. I have been informed by the management staff that the grill is now spotless so that is no longer an issue.

Wildy and Reno took care of us on the beach each day with water and watermelon. What nice guys they are and at no time did we feel at all pressured for a tip. I thought they were going to fall out of the hobie cat when I gave them a twenty dollar bill after a nice sail. The housekeepers were also sooo sweet. If I had to change anything at this resort, I would have the housekeeping staff work in the small restaurant and that staff work cleaning the rooms. The staff in the restaurant tended to be much more stiff and unfriendly. One night after it had stormed all night and rained in the morning, a family of 5 came for breakfast and were rudely told that they had to eat what was out and "NO EGGS!" Now my husband and I had just made it down because it had finally stopped raining and it might have been two minutes after ten (breakfast was over at ten). The mom said fine, but I would have been an unhappy camper, but it was not my business. I asked for a jelly other than the apple that was out and you would have thought I asked them to stomp on some grapes to make a different kind. "you eat what's out', I was told. Always order salad dressing on the side (I had a Caesar with grilled shrimp) and it was so swimming in the stuff it was inedible. I had to laugh at our server that day. he said , "yes, it's terrible and they don't even make the dressing here!', but it was not removed from the bill. So we didn't take any other chances on eating there after that. The front desk staff were helpful with making any reservations we needed for excursions or restaurants.

I would return in a heartbeat because it is a lovely, lovely resort with invested on site managers and it really is a glorious property. We all know that there are a few bad apples in every service industry. We did go next door to the Gansevort for their grilled lunches and found absolutely no hostility whatsoever. I did find it interesting that the manager of the Gansevort lives at the West Bay Club because he chooses not to live on site (I wouldn't either). He was extremely nice and helpful to us during our stay. The manager's reception was rained out and not rescheduled so I can't comment on that.

We had a wonderful time snorkeling at bothe Bight and Smith's reef which were within walking distance from the resort. The pool was NEVER crowded and there were always chairs and fluffy towels available. There was a very nice and clean fitness center. WiFi worked great.

I never felt leery or afraid at all and it was nice to see that they had two security guards on the property at night.

It was a wonderful stay and I enjoyed meeting two different people from trip advisor while there. We plan to return very soon and wouldn't consider another property.

Hello and thank you for staying with us during your recent trip to provo. I am delighted that you had a relaxing and for the most part an enjoyable stay. As I mentioned in the personal e mail to you we very much appreciate our guests comments and input as we use every opportunity to improve our processes and educate our staff.
Thank you for your kind remarks about our grounds, we are very proud of the general appearance of our resort. As you can see our gardener takes his job very seriously. The grill that we have set up near to the beach, for guests and owners personal use is a hit. Every night we enjoy seeing families cooking together or couples setting up for a romantic dinner. If there are any issues with the grill or if our guests need any assistance, cleaning, lighting or even preparing, our team is there to serve and assist.
Thank you for the nice words about our housekeeping department. Most of the ladies and gentlemen working here have been with us since the opening, they are hard working, solid and dedicated team. Our guest can count on each and everyone to do an outstanding job and we constantly receive positive comments.
Nevertheless the beach and pool attendants persistently take the top spot with the guest review. Their job is to make sure you enjoy the number one amenity we have to offer: Grace Bay Beach. They are the one that will make sure you have enough towels and umbrellas and the chairs are in a comfortable position; they are the one that will serve you with complimentary water on the beach and around noon will serve a round of fresh watermelon. If you not sure about the hobbie cat one of the attendants will gladly sail with you.
Thank you also for the commentary on the restaurant team members. Please be assured that I will address the issues you mentioned with the team.
Our complimentary breakfast is served between 7:30-and 10am. It offers a variety of cereals for adults and children, bagels, croissants, toast, yogurts, muffins or banana bread, jelly, butter, cream cheese, and regular cheese, fruits, eggs made to order, coffee, whole milk or skimmed milk, tea, and juices. Even if this is a buffet, the servers will assist you, refresh your coffee, tea or juice and take your egg orders. An A la carte menu is also available. As much as we wish to offer a larger selection on the free buffet breakfast, occasionally we are at the mercy of what was shipped to the island and delivered to the resort. Our first concern is the freshness and quality of the products preparation and certainly guest satisfaction. By the end of the week most of our guest know the servers by name and the servers learn to anticipate the guest needs. I’m proud to say that for the most, the servers and bartenders had only impeccable guest reviews.
We also have excellent chefs, one a local TCI lady with years of experience, two from DR, one from Philippines, all of them are exceptional and committed to deliver the best possible meals.
Thank you also for the remarks on the management, you are very correct, both Dane and I are hands on managers. We are involved in all the aspects of the daily operations and since we live on property we treat the resort like it is our home and the guest as our personal guests. It is not a job for everyone but we will not have it any other way.
West Bay Club is located on one of the widest and most beautiful part of Grace Bay Beach, within walking distance from near perfect snorkel area of Coral Gardens and Smith Reef . The other two resorts that neighbor us provide another lunch and dinner venue for our guest.
Once again thank you for your constructive notes and I hope next time you return to Provo you and your husband will stay with us.

It was the honeymoon that my wife and I dreamed of and the most relaxing vacation ever. West Bay Club is made up of the perfect location, accomodating staff and mgt., and friendly people. We cannot wait to go back and stay at WBC and see more of the islands. The staff seemed like family and made you feel very welcome in their home. The management went out of their way to please the guests and socialize with them. We stayed in a 1 bedroom luxury suite with ocean views from the bedroom to every window throughout, it was amazing and money well spent. There are other islands in the carribean I would like to see but it would be very hard to pass up going back to WBC.
You must find Captain Bill for the outback adventures and go to discovertci.com, find VAL and he will guide you to the best trip of your life.

If you are looking for a fabulous low key place to stay...West Bay Club is for you. It truly exceeded our expectations. The staff is great. The rooms are amazing....very contemporary....which is not my everyday style. The beach area is fabulous with plenty of space....cold water to cool you down....and sometimes watermelon! There's great snorkeling right out from the hotel. I would definitely ask around for dinner recommendations. Bagatelle ...which is next door at the Gannsevort was delicious. The Tiki Hut & Mango Reef were great. Atlantic Bar & Grill at the hotel was a favorite. There's also Somewhere Cafe...which is a short walk down the beach.....great atmosphere. There's also an IGA a taxi ride away where you can buy groceries.
My husband and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. We were able to get some serious rest & relaxation......and hope to get to visit again for some more.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanfront suite for 4 nights/5 days. Loved this hotel for it's low key vibe, clean grounds, beautiful rooms, and great service. Rooms were cleaned every day no later than noon. If we needed something, housekeeping was readily available. Our room had one main balcony with two lounge chairs and a table and another balcony overlooking the pool -- loved both.

We had massages one morning at Spa Tropique next to the fitness room.. Much less expensive than the Regent Palms and they did an AMAZING job.

Enjoyed staying next to the Gansevoort so that we could walk over for a more happening vibe if we wanted.. then, return to WBC for peace and quiet.

Beach staff was amazing.. Ricot took us out on the HobieCat and provided us with towels and cold bottled waters every day. Great guy. The hotel also provides free snorkeling/kayaking. We kayaked over to Coral Gardens and brought along the snorkel equipment from WBC. Worked out great!

The bar at Atlantic Grill was great during the day - At night we ate dinner at Bay Bistro, Magnolia, Coco Bistro, and Coyaba. Next time we return we'll cook in more because the kitchen in the room was gorgeous with top of the line appliances.

We rented a car from Grace Bay Rentals. Best decision we made since last year we spent way too much $ on taxis. It's only a 2-3 min drive from the other hotels on Grace Bay Beach..(on the other end) very easy to hop in the car and drive to Hemingway's for lunch or Anacaona for drinks.

Can't wait to return to WBC with friends next time! We've only been home 3 days and are already thinking of booking our next trip. Stay here and enjoy!

This was our first time in the Caribbean/North Atlantic. We did our homework and decided Turks and Caicos was going to be our destination. After picking about 5-6 resorts to stay at, we ultimately decided on the West Bay Club.

If you are looking for an all inclusive, or hot nightlife/late night clubs, or even walking distance to said nightlife or restaurants, this property is not for you.

If you are looking for a relaxing environment where the rooms are clean the staff is friendly and the views are amazing, here's your place. The WBC is right next door to the Gansevoort and they are basically the last two resorts on Grace Bay on one end of the beach. This creates a phenomenal private beach type feel for both resorts. The staff was friendly and happy to set you up for your day at your personal beach. Very few kids, a few families.. mostly couples.

You will want to rent a car to go dine out at some of the recommended places on Provo. We like to walk, even in the heat, so we did make it down to Turtle Cove (1.5 miles?) for some dining and Regent Grand/Village area (2+ miles) for some dining and the Graceway IGA- for liquor beer and snacks (1 mile) but all were casual visits.

We walked past Beaches and just laughed at the difference between the two beaches. We are SO glad that we were not roped in to the "all inclusive" feature there. If you are traveling as a couple, or a family looking for peace and relaxation, stay clear of that zoo!!

Spend the extra money and get the 1 bedroom luxury. Floor to ceiling doors or windows in THREE rooms looking out at the beach and ocean. Simply stunning. It's worth the money. I always chuckle when i see people review a resort and complain and moan about their view, when they booked the cheapest rooms or a studio.. what do you expect. You get what you pay for.

This place was great for us, and we would return in a moment's notice if going back to Provo in the future.
