My husband, 4 y/o son, & I recently returned from our 4th trip to TCI ( although our last visit was several years ago). One of our fave places to eat is Tiki Hut. We went for lunch straight from the airport, the day we arrived. Their menu is very diverse, & they offer several vegetarian options (I don't eat meat, but some fish). Prices are very reasonable. We love sitting dockside, watching the boats, fish, & sandpipers running around hoping you'll toss them a crumb or 2.
We were so happy to see that our favorite server, from when we first started going to TCI in 2006, still works there & waited on us (Henry from chile!). Always great service! We had: onion rings ($8) -- love these!; fettiucini Alfredo for my husband ($17, big portion. He took 1/2 with him & made another meal out of it); fish tacos for me ($12, these were excellent! I love how they put diced sweet potatoes in the soft taco shells, yum!), & my son had the mini pizza ($6, most reasonably-priced kids' meal of our trip!). Plus I enjoyed one of my fave island "treats" -- a Turk's Head beer!! ($4.50). Try one when you are in TCI! Great beer!
We hoped to make it back for another lunch, & to say goodbye to Henry, but did not have the chance. Next trip.
