I just returned from Blue Waters Inn (3 couples, 3 rooms) and was disappointed although the location is beautiful. When it stormed one night there were major leaks in the restaurant making some tables unusable and creating a large puddle the servers had to wade through. We water also came under the door of one of the rooms and even using all the towels in the room wasn't enough - they had to be wrung out and replaced continuously. One room had a toilet that didn't work. Ours worked most of the time, but two outlets didn't. The sink had an ugly black crack in it, and the painter had slopped the blue paint from the walls on the tiles in the bathroom - no masking tape used. The air conditioner was so noisy we couldn't hear the sound of the waves at night although we were right on the beach. No option of a ceiling fan, and if you open the windows, no screens so the bugs come in, so you may need the air conditioning. The bed slanted on one side so it was like sleeping on a slide. The sheets were too small to tuck in properly so by morning we were usually on the bare mattress. While they sweep up the leaves in the driveway each morning, they are less concerned about the beach which has plastic bottles, styrofoam, and other trash - though less than beaches in Trinidad.
Service in the restaurant was very slow. One morning it took an hour from the time we sat down to get a standard breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon. If you read the menu on line, don't start salivating. Many of the items will be unavailable, with no apologies, just a curt, "No chicken" or "No key lime pie".
In three days (including glass bottom boat ride and a snorkle trip) I never saw those sea turtles others wrote about, so don't count on them.
