“A pleasant hike with a knowledgeable guide, rewarded with a cool dip at the end.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2011

The hike to the falls is largely flat and manageable, gets a little tricky at the end, as you're basically walking along the creek bed just before you reach the Falls. There are no changing facilities right at the pool, so wear your suit under your clothes if you want to take a dip. We enjoyed the explanations and descriptions of our guide along the way, learned about some of the flora and fauna of Tobago and the history of that location. Pleasant walk followed by a short visit to the pretty Falls; a worthwhile excursion while you are in Tobago.

“Hidden Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2011

Argyle Falls was a beautiful water fall in Tobago.

If travelling with small kids or older family members, it's a great place to visit. Usually accessing waterfalls can be tiresome or strenuous, however Argyle Falls has quite flat and dry land on route to the falls.

We did see the odd snake in the bushes on the way to the falls but nothing to frighten you away.

There is also changing facilities, shop and car park onsite.

Highly recommended.

“A MUST GO”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2011

Ohhhh where do I begin? This year we decided to go on an adventure during our annual Tobago visits. It was my husband and our two boys (8, and 5 and three-quarters). The drive to Argyle falls was scenic, peaceful and straightforward. When we got there we were met with a most courteous CSR and then at the main service area, the attendant was outstanding. We walked along the flat clear path to the first level of the falls. If you love fish swimming around you, first level is for you. The pool is deep there, although it starts shallow. We all ventured to the top. Our boys made it with much support and attention from us. Other families followed behind. The steep climb up WAS WORTH IT. I was massaged by everyone of the gushes of water. I felt one with nature and a higher being. The boys loved wading in the shallow pools at the top. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!

“Worthwhile walk to triple-tired falls with swimming and views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2011

There is plenty of car-parking (if you take your car). You need to pay if you're not turning up with a pre-paid guide. The walk to the falls involves some rocky ground, you may get your feet or slip on the rocks. Careful with young children. There are some interesting trees and wildlife to be seen, some baby aligators and cocoa trees. The falls are in 3 tiers so it's not really a 600ft single drop falls. There is swimming in the bottom pool and jumping off some rocks for the brave. The pool is 6m deep so that is OK. There is a rocky path that takes you up round the side of the falls to the top. We arrived around 13:00 and it was busy. Suggest 11:00 or earlier if you like it quite. Note it's a 15 minute stroll to the falls from the entrance and there are NO facilities at the falls.

“Great time with friends around the falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2011

We were a group of 5 trekkers at Argyle Falls with a like minded, fun loving and adventurous guide to help us find the trails. Our group had a wonderful time in all the falls in the surrounding. The views were superb. Sorry unable to post some photos now, may be I will try later on if I could. Summing up the adventures, it was the best for us till the time, still we had really really great time. Go to falls and spend some time by the pools. The difficulty is moderate if you are accompanied by an expert guide. We were lucky on it. Our guide was amazing.
