“Nature at its besy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Real experience of a variety of trees and plant life. A local guide is available in the park. Go either early morning or late afternoon. It is just around the corner from the national museum, so you could do both in a afternoon.

“Recharging my spirit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

I was overworked and stressed out. so, by the time I got to my destination spot, I was completely void of any energy. Being in the Botanic Gardens Gave me the boost of serenity and peace, I had been looking for. enjoyed (doing nothing ) I felt a million miles away and just reveled in mother nature and all its glory, visited the Gardens when I was 15 yrs old and still felt the connection to innocence. Safe and quiet. a must for those who enjoy nature

“OK with flowers”

Not as large as some places. Better to go to the Asa Wright Nature Center and plan to arrive early, leave around 5:00 PM.

“Beautiful and enchanting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

Situated in the heart of Scarborough the capital of Tobago these gardens are kept clean and tidy every day by the park keepers and you wouldn't even know they were there they are so quiet .
Chickens running wild around the gardens adds to the ambience of the place .
Gorgeous tropical trees flowers and lily ponds throughout the park .
The park has low ground and higher ground so you get a wonderful view of the port and the cruise ships docking in daily.
There are seats around the park for relaxing in under the trees and if you are lucky you may pick up the local wifi .
