This hotel does not garner alot of print, and it's quite difficult to get to from the west coast, so we were a bit anxious. The hotel's rep greets you in Barbados and whisks you through customs. After yet another layover and a 45 minute flight you touch down in Mustique. It is a beautiful, lush island. As you deplane, the experience becomes dreamlike. You're greeted by hotel staff who, once again, take care of customs and paperwork. A feeling begins to wrap around you like an embrace. The hotel and grounds are jaw-droppingly beautiful. There is not a lily pad out of place. The staff is telepathic and genuinely warm. The food, although overdone, is good. The feel of the place is laid back, yet every detail has been carefully thought through. You don't think so much as sigh... We are already planning our return.
