Bayaleau Point Cottages are a paradise within the broader paradise of the Caribbean. If you want to get away from it all and have a wonderfully relaxing time - this is the place. Four small, brightly coloured and well equipped cottages, set in a large garden, on a hill overlooking Windward Bay on the north east coast of Carriacou - ahhh, bliss. There's hammocks to swing in, lazy days on the verendah just looking at the amazing colours of the sea, an abundance of wildlife just out your front door (and unfortunately with the mosquito's - in your door - bring good repellent), a small beach only a 2 minute walk away, Dave's rum punch to drink, Rona's great freshly baked bread, the refreshing cold showers (hey - this is how the Caribbean is meant to be - not some 5 star resort crowded with tourists) and some of the greatest beaches we ever seen in the world only a short drive away (and no-one, and we mean, no-one else on them). Don't believe it - go and see for yourself but don't tell too many people. This place is perfect for getting away from it all. We stayed a night in Grand Anise in Grenada before coming out to Carriacou and it doesn't even close.
