My boyfriend and I stayed at Seaclusion Suites for 8 nights in February and had a wonderful time. As mentioned in other reviews - the views are outstanding and Bob and Marie are perfect hosts. Marie is a great cook - fresh fish, vegiees, salad, fresh baked bread - it was all delicious. I miss drinking rum punchs on our beautiful deck. (I can't say enough about the outstanding views). Carriacou is very beautiful - perfect for those who want a quiet, relaxing vacation. If you are looking for a night-life scene - you'd do better elsewhere.

We went scuba diving most days with Arawak divers - I recommend them highly. George and Connie are fabulous. On most dives there were only three of us - nothing like a small group for diving.

It's only a 5-10 minute walk to three different beaches from the property. We enjoyed the snokelling there too; on our last day we saw octopus and lots of fish.

The rooms were perfectly comfortable - we would love to return.

We stayed with Marie and Bob at Seaclusion for 2 weeks, and having driven round the entire island (we would recommend hiring a car) and seen the other accommodations can say that Seaclusion is by far the best place to stay on this fantastic island.

Seaclusion is perfectly placed to pick up maximum breeze and benefit from the trade winds, resulting in an excellent temperature and very significantly zero mosquitoes (14 days in the tropics and no insect bites!).

It is also superbly placed on its hillside to give the best view we have ever had from any accommodation we have stayed at,
providing a stunning view of the Grenadine Chain, from the Western tip of the island to Mayreau via Union, with the eastern arm of Carriacou framing the picture up to Palm island.

Our suite was exceptionally clean and very well kitted out, and Marie and Bob were excellent hosts who were always trying to point out any finer points that would enhance our trip. Marie's cooking is extremely tasty and certainly makes sure that you will never be hungry!

Bob also has some excellent local contacts for very inexpensive boat trips to some some fantastic uninhabited nearby islands.

For us it was a truly wonderful and memorable holiday.

A most enjoyable week. Excellent food prepared by our host, a comfortable, attractively furnished and well equipped room with a constant refreshing breeze.

Amazing views, good nearby beach and obliging hosts.

Possible downside was that it was a little way to a bus route and the access road is too rough for normal taxis. However Bob will oblige with his own taxi service.

Perhaps an investment in cotton sheets would add an extra element of comfort.

After celebrating our wedding and beginning of our honeymoon in gorgeous Grenada, we set sail aboard the Osprey for Carriacou and Seaclusion Suites. Carriacou is the 'old Caribbean', a piece of the Caribbean left alone from mass development. It was peaceful, quiet, extremely beautiful with interesting sounds, sights, delicious food (give Noni fruit a try-if possible) and gracious hosts.

Seaclusion Suites is a perfect place to hideaway from it all. The scenery is outstanding, as we are scenery enthusiasts. We snorkeled on Black Sand Beach, swam in the Caribbean sea and walked along Paradise Beach. The local vans transport you around quite easily and at a reasonable cost. We felt extremely safe. The locals were welcoming, but we found the people were not as friendly as in Grenada.

Our suite was very comfortable, clean, bright and cheery. We particularly loved our patio, high above the sea with outstanding views and a pleasant breeze. We practically lived on it. We looked forward to the evening sunset and arrival of the fireflys. The tree frogs singing in the distance, the immense amount of stars and moonlight from the full moon are treasured memories for us during our special time. Simply paradise!

Bob and Marie are gracious hosts. They were so kind and helpful and let us enjoy our privacy. We were very impressed with the owner's eco-friendly ethos. Thank-you for sharing so many interesting tales and life experiences. They built their dream and inspired us!
Marie - Many thanks for the pina coladas every evening as the sunset. We remained at Seaclusion for our evening meals enticed by the privacy and views. Marie's culinary delights were first rate. We even enjoyed freshly caught lobster (our favorite), thanks to Bob.

Our experience: Perfect! Grenada and Carriacou was a perfect location to celebrate our wedding and honeymoon. It was difficult to leave. We are thank-ful for our memories and look forward to a return visit.

“Heaven on Earth”

Seaclusion Suites

We have just had the most wonderful short break with Bob and Marie at Seaclusion suites. When searching the Web for somewhere to stay you never know whether you can believe what is said on a website. In this case the only inaccuracy was that the website failed to do justice to an absolutely superb location.

From the moment Bob picked us up at the charming little airport to when he dropped us at the ferry at the end of the stay we were made to feel like family friends. Nothing was too much trouble for him or Marie. The room was spotless and comfortable and the view!!! Well I have never seen anything like it. They even laid on a pair of whales cavorting in the sea immediately below us as we arrived. This was a first for us and set the tone for a very special stay. Being high up, as well as a lovely view there was always a cooling breeze and it was so peaceful. The only sound you could hear at night was the chirruping of the cicadas and tree frogs and the gentle lap of the waves in the distance.

5 minutes walk down through their garden was what I can only describe as the most perfect beach I have ever seen. Soft white sand, deep turquoise sea and shady trees along its edge. All this and we hardly saw a soul the whole time we were there. Perfect!!

In the evenings we didn't bother to go searching for places to eat as we had our own resident gourmet chef on hand (Marie) to prepare the most amazing meals. How she does it I don't know but to sit on our own terrace, underneath the stars, as Marie and Bob served us some fabulous food was the icing on the cake.

One day they took us on an island tour which was nothing like an organised bus trip. After loading the jeep with sandwiches, snacks and lots of cold beers for lunch we set off to the most inaccessible and surely unvisited parts of the island as well as the usual sights. Everyone we passed seemed to know them and we must have waved to almost everyone on the island! Lunch was taken on another perfect beach after a swim in the sea. What a day, followed by another of Marie's special dinners.

If you want a quiet, restful holiday away from it all I cannot recommend anywhere else. This was as good as it gets. Thanks guys for everything!
