We took a cab, from our cruiseship Azamera "Quest", over to Pinneys Beach. With a short stop at The Alexander Hamiltons childhood home, first (he's on the $10. bill). Wen we arrived at the beach by cab, we were met by helpfull people who were eager to make us comfortable, and take our drink, and food orders. I was using my walker/rollator and was able to manouver over grassy/sandy areas to get tto our spot on the beach. Our chairs were close enough to the water that I was able to walk to the water holding onto my boyfriends arm. The sand is like fine sugar on this beach!! It was great rubbing it wet onto my legs as an exfoliator. I lauged saying I was digging the sand out of every crack, and crevice of my body for several days! Hahaha, but true. We rented 2 chairs, with a natural palm tree umbrella over us for $10. a chair. I think it's worth the price. Try their signature Rum Punch drink!! Very good, and potent! There was a large bonfire pit on the beach, that I was told they lite it up on some nites for celebrations. We were there just for the day, but I amagin it would be a blast to be there for that. I loved this beach, nice memories. Easy to walk on this sand/with help. The food was good enough. The views are phenominal!! Very peacefull, and rejuvinating.
