Just got back from Nevis, and I remembered to write a review for Oasis because I promised the waitress I would. This Thai restaurant is a great spot for some good Asian food. Between the American & Carribean food we had been eating at the Four Seasons, we felt Oasis was worth the trip to get there.
The service was great, attentive and not overbearing. My friend was recovering from being sick and they intentionally made her soup extra mild and put all the seasoning on the side for her in decorative dishes so that she can add it to her liking. They were very accommodating when we all ordered. The Thai food is great for Nevis, not the best I've ever had in my life, but def better than expected considering I was on a remote island.
We didn't take a walk around the gardens. It's $13 to get in and going to the restaurant doesn't bypass that, but you do get to walk through and see a little bit of it. The restaurant isn't cheap, but the portions are definitely fair. There were 4 of us and we spent about $120 USD. Far and above less expensive than the resorts, but more than some local places. Overall, between the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and the soup, all of us thoroughly enjoyed what we ate. Fully recommend this restaurant. It was a nice break from what we've been eating and was great. Nice service and fresh good food works for me anytime. Enjoy!
