Our stay at Oualie Beach was fantastic. The rooms were great. Everything was clean. The staff went above and beyond to accomidate all of the things we wanted to do. They graciouly scheduled taxis and outing for us with no charge for the service. The food at the restuarant is some of the best we have ever eaten. It is the only vacation that we have taken that we were not ready to return home. We will definitly be back.

We are just back from our third trip to Nevis and our third stay at Oualie Beach Resort. On our first trip to St Kitts/ Nevis we stayed a few days at the Marriott, a few days at Timothy Beach Resort, and a few days at Oualie. Although we enjoyed the Marriott and TBR, we found we like Oualie Beach Resort the best.

Oualie has beautiful grounds and are adding some nice walkways to the cottages. The staff, from management to the grounds keepers are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities like swimming, boating, kayaking, biking, snorkeling and scuba diving available. There are always plenty of beach chair and hammocks available, so there is no need to stake claim to one, like some resorts. The food and drinks are good at the restaurant and bar, and reasonably priced. Their free wireless Internet access works great all over the resort.

The overall experience at Oualie and Nevis is what keeps us going back.

We just returned from a week of vacation in Nevis. We stayed at Oualie Beach Resort and cannot say enough good things about the people who work there and the hotel itself. First and foremost, the people who work at Oualie Beach are the most friendly and helpful we have met any place we have visited. From the reception staff, to the restaurant staff to the maintenance staff, all were helpful and courteous. Our room was perfect: cool breezes, a short stroll to the beach, and overall a great place to stay. Each meal at the restaurant was delicious, and the service was always good. We especially enjoyed the Tuesday evening's Beach BBQ and the Managers Reception on Wednesday. The reception staff was helpful and friendly. We took their advice and used the bus service as opposed to always calling a taxi. What a great way to get around the island inexpensively! When we did need a taxi, the staff took care of all the arrangements. The people we met in Charlestown were also friendly and willing to answer our questions. We were fortunate to be on the island when the Annual Agricultural Fair was taking place. While providing us a ride when he saw we were waiting for a bus, Mr. Jones, the hotel manager recommended we spend some time at the fairgrounds. We did, and enjoyed the festivities.

Overall, Oualie Beach Resort is a beautiful, friendly, and moderately priced place to stay!

We just spent a beautiful week at Oualie Beach. We considered the bigger resorts on Nevis (Nisbet Planation, Four Seasons), but chose Oualie Beach because it was smaller and more intimate (also less pricey). We were really happy with our decision - it was perfect for us. Our room was spacious and comfortable, in a traditional cottage on the beach (great bed!). The whole resort is understated and laid back, yet great service, terrific restaurant, a cozy beach bar, wonderful staff. Water sports & excursions can be arranged (some are on site), or you can just lounge on one of the beach hammocks and relax. Excellent caribbean barbecue on Tuesday nights and a fun party every Friday night at the bar (with an excellent band). Overall, it was really great. It's a quiet resort, small and intimate, but then Nevis is understated itself, so if you need a lot of action, it might not be the place for you. But we loved it and would not hesitate to go back.
