My wife and I have stayed at Oualie several times and will return and would, without hesitation, reccomend it for a wonderful island experience. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and variation of the food at Oualie and found chef Jason to be extraordinary in his preparation and skill, clearly one does not expect this kind of experience on an remote island! the Tiki bar is also worth mentioning as the local characters that you will meet are quite a treat. You can tell what time of the day it is by what "Nox" is drinking.

Our room was clean and well maintained and found the employees at Oualie to be helpful and fun. We were treated to a fresh cocnut drink while on our way to the resturant from our room!

The beach is sandy and usually clean, unless it storms, and is just a few steps from your room, we stayed at the very end unit second floor.

So in review, clean room, great view, great food, excellent bar, teriffic beach, excellent access to the island, good overall service.....whats not to like. We highly reccomend Oualie Beach Resort. Bob & Deb T. of Bucks County

Oualie Beach Resort was the perfect place to escape
the dreary February weather! Our room was beautiful,
and because we were on the second floor only yards
from the ocean, we could leave our doors open to the
wonderful breezes all night. Good service, good food,
and exceptionally nice people.

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Nevis ant St. Kitts. Our favorite accommodation was the Oualie Beach Resort.! We'd picked it out on the internet and chose it because it was on the beach and was small. As you know, what is said or pictured in hotel information is not always what you get, but we got just what we'd hoped for and more! Our bungalow was clean and picturesque. We could see the beach, palm trees and sea from out bed. We enjoyed lounging in the hammocks or beach chairs, swimming in the calm blue water, sitting on our porch cooled by the trade winds, and the rum punch and music at the bar and restaurant. Access to biking, diving, snorkeling , saililng and kayaking were right next to the on-site restaurant, and a rain forest hike was arranged for us in minutes by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. When we failed to take our passports out of the safe when we left, they went out of their way to get them to us across the water in St. Kitts. We would not hesitate to return to the Oualie Beach Resort and next time would spend all our time there and on the island of Nevis - an unspoiled Caribbean treasure!

I returned home recently from the Oualie Beach Resort, Nevis (St. Kitts/Nevis) where I had one of the best vacations in many years of traveling the Caribbean. The people are the friendliest I've ever met, including the Oualie Beach Staff and all the local Nevisians. The food and accommodations were excellent and Miss Gloria, the sous chef, makes a Seafood Bisque to kill for! (And she gave me the recipe!) I was very impressed with the"green" philosophy of the resort: solar power to heat the water, recycling, no pesticides on the flora or fauna and on-going protection of the environment, both on land and at sea. There are plenty of water sports at Oualie Beach, all conducted from the dock and beach, which is located in a secluded cove. The resort is small and intimate and just right for me. My vacation was relaxed and low key with no hustle or bustle. I am highly recommending Oualie Beach to all of my friends and relatives. I will definitely go back.
