Description: Beach side restaurant built in a large Tiki hut with tropical decor, high end cuisine and the only wine cellar on the island. The views of St Kitts and the Caribbean sea as well as the building are exceptional with a relaxed feeling while the food and wine are superior. This is not a beach bar but a high end restaurant on the beach.s

“Unique and authentic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting. They have a very extensive and interesting wine list. I had the duck which was very tasty. The restaurant is unique with a thatched roof and very comfortable. Although it seemed large and cavernous it was easy to have a conversation and seemed quite intimate.

“Great food, worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

As many people will tell you, Coconut Grove is one of the top restaurants in Nevis. The food is of the same or better quality as a big city restaurant, and is on the beach. The tuna two ways appetizer, the onion soup, the pasta and the desserts are all 10 out of 10.

My one comment would be that the restaurant is overbearing regarding wine. We were asked 6-7 times if we wanted wine..and we have heard how expensive the bottles are there. The food is good enough where I think the restaurant can take it easy on the wine unless the customer shows interest.

We thought the food may have been the best quality on the island but enjoyed the service better at Indian Summer and Bannanas.

“France and Nevis- wonderful combination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

The food was impressive, and the wine cellar and sommelier were fantastic. The restaurant itself felt like a hut from French Polynesia- the ambience was truly unique and the food was outstanding.

“Great food, great wine, great setting, amazing service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

We had several recommendations for Coconut Grove all telling us how good it is, all were understatements. You have to experience it to get it. The title tells it all, but does not mention the cocktails and wine cellar. Without doubt the best pasta meal I have had any where in the world, add a delicious pumpkin soup (didn't know you could make pumpkin so tasty) and then a lovely mango cheesecake...... Well we are going back soon to get some more

“Fabulous food and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

Definitely pricy but worth the money. Spent ~250 USD for a bottle of wine, soups, two main dishes. The wine list is extensive, and the owner clears knows his selection. He was really friendly, told us all about his experience re: wine, growing up in southern France, etc. the French onion soup was outstanding, the beef bourguignon was amazing, and the grilled lobster was well done and MASSIVE. The open air cabana feel is also a nice touch. All in all a great dinner, definitely on the pricier side.
