Owner description: Famed Canadian Acrhitch Thomas McBroom has skillfully remodeled Royal St. Kitts Golf Club to provide breathtaking views of the natural terrain. The course boasts spectacular and picturesque holes which border the black sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and stretch to the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea. The "links" -style golf course has five par 3s with three full holes on the Atlantic, and two full holes on the Caribbean Sea. The golf course is spread over 125 acres of irrigated lush seashore paspalum, and advanced hybrid turf grass, specifically designed to tolerate the salty ocean spray. Displaying a moderate number of sand bunkers (83 total) and 12 beautiful lakes on the course, wide fairways, and large putting greens, it is a fair, yet challenging test of golf. Four sets of tee complexes allow golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the challenge posed by this magnificant layout. The finishing hole returns golfers to the "country club" -style clubhouse featuring a full-service golf shop, locker rooms, and clubhouse grille. Enjoy this challenging 18-hole, par 71 layout year-round. Take in the sights of aquamarine surf, black sand beaches, and the local wildlife including egrets, lizards, and green tail monkeys that occupy the surrounding landscape. The Royal St. Kitts Golf Club is sure to test your skills, while stimulating all your senses during a golf experience you will never forget.

“A good resort course especially the back nine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2012

It is part of the Marriott thus very convenient if you are staying there. The front nine are ok but not very exciting. The back nine is more challenging and many of the holes are on the ocean. The course is in good shape not great. It is worth playing. As a time share owner we play after 2 and this year rented clubs. In their package we had new Taylor made clubs, a glove , six balls and rental shoes for $120 each. With the cost of a second bag on American and the hassle if bringing them it did not cost extra. I also enjoyed trying new clubs. If you play earlier it is more expensive. We prefer beach, lunch golf.

“Have a Royal Time at the Royal St Kitts Golf Club”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

We have so much fun playing this course! Of course, the scenic views of the Carribbean and Atlantic contribute to our overall enjoyment, but the course is interesting too. I usually do not like a links layout because it is usually boring with one way up and the reverse back. The Royal St Kitts is fun because of the water holes, the challenge of both the short and long holes, and the beautiful terrain. We like to play early in the morning and are greeted with eucalyptus scented washcloths at the end ofthe round.

“Good Caribbean course at affordable rates”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2011

Look for tee time specials on EZ Links.com...$90. Last 3 holes run right along Atlantic, which makes for true Carib golf experience. Saw, but did not play 4 Seasons course on Nevis. Would agree w/ locals who told us Royal St. Kitts far better course.

“Great course for the average player”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2010

Recently had the opportunity to play this course while on a cruise. The outing was unplanned so I had no practice rounds, and no equipment. The trip was an excursion provided by Carnival Cruise Line.
The course was beautiful! But what was most exciting was the playability of the course for the average player. The fairways are wide and level with distinct landing areas visible from every tee box. The greens were of medium speed and very readable, with just the right amount of undulation. There was some trouble and a few holes required some placement, but all in all it was a great test of golf. I am a bogey golfer and my best 9 hole score is a 38. I was able to break a 100 (52-46) while playing in sneakers. We played from the blacks which was about 6400 yds I believe. From here the landing areas were more visible and it kept you out of reach of most trouble your drive. The veiws on the Carribean holes were unbelieveable. Beautiful blue water and beach. One hole reminded me a little of 18 at Pebble Beach. We just happened to be playing the weekend of the Legends golf tournament, so we had the added bonus of seeing many retired Hall of Fame football, basketball and baseball players. A great vacation course for sure!

“Great Golf”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2009

The course is well maintained. Some brown spots from the constant heat, but, the greens are in good shape and the fairways are well groomed.

Use ez-links to name your own price. I got each round for 60 bucks. $145 is their rack rate. This was in the off-season though.

The back nine is mostly overlooking the Atlantic. Gorgeous views (see pics) and windy.
