“Our favorite restaurant on St. Kitts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Less than 10 minutes from the Marriott and $16 cab ride one way. We had the concierge make us a reservation. Beautiful porch that overlooks bay. We had the scallops and bacon saladette for our appetizer and the scallops were cooked perfect. Then bread was served which was tasty. I had the crusted Mahi Mahi - best ever - and my husband had the scallops/shrimp/crawfish which was good but not as good as my Mahi Mahi. We ended with Key Lime Pie which was freshly made. Our total was around $110 w/ taxes. Before we ordered dessert, we asked the restaurant to call our cab driver who arrived right before we walked out. We were glad we went off resort and would definitely return again..

“Excellent food, parking on the street”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

An large choice of varying items. There were 4 of us, each having something different from beef to fish. All 4 main courses were excellent. Like many in St. Kitts, they charge for each glass of ice tea. Just something I am not used to and thought I would start mentioning in reviews, so someone is not surprised when charged for 4 or 5 glasses of tea.

Parking can be a problem, if you are not taking a cab. Prices are about average to slightly higher for the area. Always remember that the "taxes and gratuity" will add 25% to your bill in the restaurants around St. Kitts and Nevis.

“Cozy, Homely feeling with great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Set close to the sea, overlooking a bay, Serendipity is a house converted to a restaurant without changing the structure of the house. The feeling of being at a home gets enhanced by the friendly, pleasant and unobtrusive service from the team. The food is excellent - freshly made and presented in elegant style.

“When in St Kitts, eat at Serendipity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

We ate here 6 years ago and decided to eat here again on our return trip in April. We were not disappointed. The owner welcomed us and escorted us to our table which had a view of the harbor and the lights of Nevis in the distance. The food was outstanding starting with a "chef special" appetizer that provided a sample of grouper and mahi mahi. It was so good, some of us wanted it as our main entree. The menu is very diverse between hot & cold appetizers, salads, seafood, grilled meats, and specials. Our table ordered the fresh spiny lobster, grouper, 8 oz sirloin, shrimp, and vegetarian dishes. All of us agreed our meals were the best so far while visiting St Kitts. The service was excellent, views wonderful, meals outstanding, and atmosphere provided for a charming night out. Highly recommend Serendipity and reservations are recommended even in the "off season".
