We were cruising aboard the Carnival Victory, and decided we would like to get in one last dive before our trip was over. I contacted Austin with Pro Divers the night before our arrival, and asked if he could squeeze us in. He said he would have someone at the cruise ship pier to pick us up the next morning at 9:30. Promptly at 9:30 we were picked up, and took about a five minute ride to the dive boat. Pro Divers facility and 38 foot dive cat were the nicest we experienced during our trip. When we arrived at the shop, I told Austin we had completed our reading and knowledge reviews for our PADI Boat Diver specialty, and wondered if we could fit that training in with our two dives. He said "no problem", and we began reviewing course material even as we were loading up. My wife and I are new divers, and Austin gave a very good pre-dive briefing prior to getting in to the water. We were there with two other divers who were local to the area. When the locals show up to dive with you, I think that says a lot about your operation. Once we were in the water, we proceeded down to about 60 feet, where Austin was pointing out a large variety of fish, as well as numerous large lobster and eels. We did two wonderful reef dives, with about an hour wait between dives. We were supplied with plenty of drinking water between dives. On the way back, we got our log books signed off. After the short boat trip back to the dive shop, we were driven back to the cruise ship with enough time left over to do a little shopping.
