“Worse than Fazzolis”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

The worst Italian meal I have ever had. The bruschetta tasted like it came from a can. My pumpkin ravioli were swimming in a watery salty mess. The marinara tasted like they dumped it out of a can, microwaved it and threw it on noodles. The fish was dry and overcooked. Servers were kind and professional. Too bad the cooks are terrible! The atmosphere was marginal. The prices were
High for the quality of food.

“Italian Food for a Change”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

If you need to have your Italian food fix while you are on the island this is the place to go. Pretty good food and near the Marriot. The atmosphere is nothing special but they do have outdoor seating. The food was well presented and true to its Italian heritage.

“Good Italian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

Ciao is within walking distance from the Marriott. I had the garden salad, pappardelle with lobster, and the tiramisu. Excellent. My husband enjoyed the mahi mahi. it cost the 2 of us about $93 which included 1 glass of wine and bottled water as well.

“Great food, lousy attitude”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

The food is quite good and, for an island, reasonably priced. But the husband and wife who own the place ... he sits at a desk in the middle of the restaurant (a little weird) and she insulted me upon arrival, telling me I paid too much for a tour.

“Authentic Italian in the Caribbean!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Just a short walk from The Marriott resort, we happened upon a lovely restaurant owned by an Italian couple. It was a medium sized restaurant with indoor and patio seating. The husband makes all of the pastas in-house, and everything at our table was delicious! The wife took our order and was very helpful as she described the entrees and made suggestions. She also treated everyone at the table with a neck massage, as she asked us about our families and shared pictures of her children.
We ordered antipasti for our table of six: Beef and tuna carpaccia. Both were very good, but the consensus was that the tuna was the better of the two. I ordered a house specialty: green, lobster ravioli (baked). The handmade, spinach pasta was stuffed with large pieces of lobster.
It was baked in a creamy cheese sauce- Delicious!
The others at my table enjoyed a white, lobster ravioli covered with a creamy saffron sauce; pappardelle pasta and lobster, made with lobster, zucchini and a mildly, spicy rose' wine sauce; a large and flavorful chicken parmagiana.
Over two hours later, our lovely, delicious and relaxing evening was capped off by a complimentary white and chocolate grappa for the entire table.
