“Outstanding service, equipment and value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013 via mobile

Tried to book another service which luck-ally was full. Did a two tank SCUBA at Round Rock and then the Kittywake. My dive partner was inexperienced and they did a great job of putting her at ease. Fantastic experience, these guys were great, we will be back.

“Great Operator, first class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

I contacted CTD by chance via Internet and hit the diver lotto. These guys are great. I have been diving for 40'yrs and wanted to introduce my 10 yr old grandson to this wonderful sport and chose Cayman Turtle Divers to do that, at his age one mess up could have ruined this experience for life.
I could not have been more pleased with the way they handled him, and the intro into scuba. They made him ( and me ) very comfortable with the professionalism they displayed. First day he went to 40' and saw, turtles, barracuda, parrot fish, puffers, no problems. Skills they made him perform as well as the verbal understanding about what was happening was done very well. Today two tank dive to further his education and experience and I think I now have a new dive buddy. Awesome experience!!! Thanks JT, Shaggy, and Al

“Best of the Best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Cayman Turtle Divers provided our family a semi-private dive trip at a rate much less than the large commercialized groups. JT, Shaggy and Al were all very professional, experienced, and knowledgable about the local dive sites. They took us were we wanted to go based on our interests and skill level (my son was a first time open water diving since his checkout dive in US). WOW what a way to start off your diving career.

As my son and I dove the Kittywake my wife snorkeled above watching us, and then again as we did our shallower dives on the reefs. Now she has the bug to get certified.

JT picked us up by boat at our hotel beach (Marriott), provided warm towels, snacks and water during the trip and on the way back to our beach. The gear is all new, top of the line, and in perfect condition. They provided all the gear including wrist computers and a dive camera and Go Pro for personalized memories.

JT said he will never take more than 6 divers at a time, will always have new equipment, and will make sure the trips are as relaxing and personable as possible. We will only dive with this group again when we come back. If you call to book a dive or snorkel and a guy answers and sounds like he is on the boat, that will be JT or he is on the boat (that is his office). No scheduled dive times to have to meet, no overhead of a booking office, and T-shirts can be purchased and his guys will drop off at your hotel.

“Awesome experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We got hooked up with these guys through Casey at Neptune divers as a last minute thing to go dive at Stingray City. Professional act all around. Fairly easy to find at the Cayman Yacht Club on the inlet side of Seven Mile Beach. We went out with two guys (Shaggy, which is totally easy to remember) and another guy whose name escapes me (from Texas, I do remember that much). We were the only ones on the boat, so it was like our own personal trip. We headed out, got to the reef in about 10 minutes, and hopped right in. Their BCD's and fins were very nice. All ready to go, just pulled the vest on and jumped in. Shaggy fed the rays, we fed the rays... had to fend off some feisty Yellow Tailed snapper in the process. We then went for a nice 20 minute dive around the shallow reefs and saw a lot of cool juvenile fish, including a lion, peppermint snails, ton of Atlantic blue tang, schools of other bright colorful fish. After about 50 minutes underwater, we hopped out, got some water and fruit on the boat and were on our way. Overall it was a really nice experience. I have no idea whether it was a good deal or not money wise, as they just set it all up for us. I would def recommend these guys to anyone!

“Outstanding Service - Great Equipment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Cayman Turtle Divers ROCKS! We dove two days with them; day one along the wall and a reef dive and then the next day a shallow dive to feed the stingrays. First, they were very responsive in communicating with us by email and flexible in scheduling. They provided pickup/drop off service in their clean van (we were at the Westin). The equipment was in great condition and they had dive computer watches too. The boat was clean and very well maintained. They provided water and snacks for us too to help us stay hydrated or just comfortable. Loading back in the boat was easy; a very nice ladder with grab bar on the platform. The crew/dive masters (JT, Shaggy & Al) are very service oriented and knowledgeable of the area. During our dives, the dive master pointed out items/fish/turtles/etc. we may have otherwise missed. Finally, they picked us up at 8:30 for our morning dive, not 7:30 like some other shops and our afternoon dive was after lunch. Great scheduling and also no crowded dive spots. We will definitely dive with them again on a future trip!
