“Amazing place to get away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Returned from a Thanksgiving week Grand Cayman trip. We stayed in unit 1111 at the Grandview, a 2 bedroom walkout to the beach. The name says it all! But there's so much more than the view. Our unit was recently renovated, very updated and fresh. There were certainly other guests and residents there during our visit, but we hardly saw anyone. Very private. We had breakfast and happy hour on the beach several times, and the table and chairs were always available. The location was ideal for us. Easy walk to restaurants, and nice beach walking as well, if we decided to head to a more populated area. We heard the snorkeling from our beach was great, but didn't get a chance to experience it. On a less than ideal weather day, we were calling and visiting the office frequently for help with our plans. Kenesha, Sophia, and Max were extremely helpful and friendly on every occurrence. Dwight made a point to show us the iguana hang out, and my son was thrilled to see him putting up Christmas lights. There is no bar or restaurant on site, but there is at the resort next door. The pool, hottub, and gazebo are beautiful, the grounds very well kept. We walked up the beach after a high tide night and saw a lot of debris on other properties, but Grandview had crews keeping the beach beautiful. If we get a chance to return to Georgetown, would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Ground floor is really nice if you have children, or will be coming and going from the beach frequen...

I just returned from a visit to Grand Cayman, during which I stayed, again, at Grandview Condos on Seven Mile Beach.
Rented a fine 2-bdrm condo unit - nice view out to the ocean, spacious and comfortable..

As always the staff was wonderful - I almost feel like it's "home away from home"....it's so nice to see the same people, who greet me so warmly - Max, Kenesha, Sophie, Beth, Dwight...everyone really looks out for you...

Great place to stay, and the location is excellent - so close to so many things, minutes away from Georgetown, even fewer minutes from Kirk's Market. easy access to all the Seven Mile Beach sites and attractions...

Room Tip: Those families with children may prefer a ground floor unit - they face right out on the pool and be...

Our wedding party and guests stayed at Grandview Condos. It couldn't have been more perfect! Our family was in a row of condos where we could walk right out onto the beach and to the pool from our living rooms. Even though a few other people were staying at Grandview, we felt like we had a private place to hangout and relax in a beautiful setting. The condos are all beautifully and fully furnished and the staff is amazing. Anytime we needed anything, they jumped and even gave everyone a full orientation of the area as soon as we arrived. We made so many special memories staying at Grandview with our friends and family and will be returning again for our anniversary celebrations!

Best place ever! Treated us like family!! We debated on a condo vs a hotel as we had 2 young men 18 years of age. The Grandview was a pleasant surprise, as it was not crowded at all and we had the place to ourselves. So, we could snorkel on the hotel beach, and we could also swim and hot tub to our hearts' delight. The office staff were outstanding. Tennis raquets and good advice on nearby restaurants, and good advice for nearby dive shop. I would book this resort again.

We went with another couple and stayed in Unit 121. It was great for us because the second bedroom had it's own bath (not ensuite, but next door) and a queen bed.

Check-in was super easy and Kenesha had a packet of information ready for us regarding restaurants, car rentals and things to do, and she also escorted us to our room and went through the information to get us started. Another nice option is that she will arrange to have some basic groceries in your unit when you arrive, which was great so we didn't have to go out for breakfast next morning. Also our friends were delayed due to airline difficulties, but Max, the Manager, stayed up to meet them and escort them to the unit. Max also came after hours to help us with the TV reception - the cable went out inexplicably - and he kept at it until it was fixed. He and his team are incredibly personable and helpful - not what you usually expect when booking a condo.

The grounds were immaculate and well tended; the property itself was beautiful. The pool was large and offered both shade and full sun. The hot tub is enormous, and has fabulous jets - it's not as hot as most, but I liked that because it was almost unbearably hot outside in August. The unit itself was well appointed, very large and very comfortable with a nice screened balcony porch - it's on the second floor. My only disappointment was that the huge almond tree in front blocks most of the water view (still a great view as you can watch the cruise ships come into and leave port).

The property is located right at the beginning of 7 Mile Beach, close to Georgetown, and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants, a very nice grocery store and shopping center. We were able to get around using only the local bus until our last day when we rented a car to tour the island.

Things to remember - maid service is every three days, and you need to let them know if you want your towels replaced and dishes washed, otherwise they won't (or at least they did not in our case). Also, these are condos, so don't expect lots of organized activities. Having said that, Max and Kenesha are a wealth of information and will help you arrange whatever you may want to do on the island. We did most ourselves because they allow free local calls, and this was extremely helpful. Also, wi-fi is free, and in our unit at least was incredibly good. We had 4 ipad/iphone users at any given time, and never had an issue with speed or connectivity.

If you want to go the condo route for your stay, I highly recommend this property. The vibe is very relaxed and the property management very helpful. The grounds and rooms are immaculate and well worth the rental cost!

Room Tip: If you are two couples traveling together, choose Unit 121, but it does have a slightly obstructed v...

This was our second stay at Grandview (in the same room to be exact) and once again it's a great place to stay! Within walking distance to Andy's car rental (which we recommend also) and Coconut Joe's! The beach and pool are always quiet and private and it's a great place to snorkel! It's quite rocky here so I recommend water shoes. The grounds are immaculately kept! This condo has "everything" you could need! They do a great cleaning job too! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The beach here is a great place to take pictures as it has almond trees! I gotta say of all the islands I have vacationed - cayman is my favorite! The water is beautiful and all the beaches are so clean! The people are friendly and it's a great place for families! I am always sad to leave but I am sure it's not my last visit here! My husband and I took advantage of the "couples only" deal which made this more affordable! The only thing that could make this the "perfect" vacation is if there was a direct flight from Dallas - Ft. Worth instead of Houston lol! Grand cayman just never disappoints!

Room Tip: Although not beach front you still have an ocean view. In this center unit you will have more of an...

My wife and I along with our two teenage boys have traveled to Grand Cayman a handful of times over the past 4 years. We have stayed at three different condominium complexes over the years. Hands down, Grandview is the best of the bunch. Location is great...quiet and uncrowded, plenty of sandy beach to enjoy for yourself. The trees on the beach provide plenty of shade for those who desire. Units are clean and well kept. The management and staff are unbelievable. Max and Kenesha could not be more helpful. Can't wait to return.
